I've seen numerous "inexpensive" cases and this is the nicest for the money of them all. I give this a 5 star rating because of what you get for the little bit of money paid. I can't give it that rating if compared to the 10 watch case I paid $70 for, but that's expected. However even though it's significantly less expensive, it certainly would be an excellent choice to serve as someone's primary storage unit. I use my 10 watch case for my best watches but this case is providing the same protection for my overflow watches. This case is sturdier than I expected, has a glass window which is needed for the solar powered Casio ProTrek in the case, protects my watches from dust and dirt, and uses soft materials inside to protect them from getting scratched. Even though I'll never lock it, the lock does work. Of course having a lock on such an item is a waste of time and material. However a working lock means the top and bottom align properly, which is important. Overall, the finish/covering is decent, as is the interior. The individual compartments are nicely sized however larger watches adjacent to one another will need to be staggered to fit, but the pillows are long enough to permit that. That is, one can position a watch so as it's body is nearer the rear or nearer the front of the pillow, making minimal staggering possible. I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and design of the pillows. The sides are ridgid to maintain the pillow's shape however the circumference where the watch and strap rests has some give, enough to permit me to close the clasps on my watches with steel bands. My only concern is their durability, but I'm optimistic. The one thing I really don't like is the ribbon used to keep the top from opening too far. It does the job but I don't know how durable it will prove and attention's required every time you close the lid to insure it stays inside the case. So, for the money paid, I'm extremely happy. Now, my 10 watch case has exqusite pillows, beautiful metal hinges, larger compartments, full display window for solar watches, superb materials and workmanship throughout and I expect it to last a lifetime. On the other hand, this case is well made, using better materials and having better workmanship than the others I've seen in this class and, with care, should protect my watches as well as my other case for a good long time. I equate it to a "Best Buy" rating from a consumer magazine, i.e. there are better but it will do the job at a reasonable cost. Though I consider the cost of this one more than reasonable!

For the price, this was an incredible buy. The materials the product is made of are top-notch. The color and size are right on, and although it doesn't come with a security lock, the clasp that holds the product together is of high quality and looks quite nice. You can't beat the value. I highly recommend this product!

My watch collection never looked cleaner before. It is a great box fits all my watches and looks so beautiful looking at my timepieces all together at one place. The quality is amazing and very easy to use.

I bought this 6-slot black leather watch box over a year ago, and overall, it’s a very good product. The design is elegant, the black leather looks great, and the clear glass top makes it easy to display and choose my watches. It’s been a perfect addition as I grow my collection, and it has kept my watches well organized.However, I can’t give it 5 stars because with time, the interior has started to show some wear, even though I’ve never exposed it to moisture. The cushion inserts have also deformed a bit due to the different sizes of my watches, which makes them less secure in place.Still, I think it’s a solid choice for the price and looks great on any dresser or shelf. I’m giving it 4 stars — a good buy, but with room for improvement.

Bottom line upfront. This is the item missing to finish the dresser layout in your bedroom. The perfect way to display that investment of amazing time pieces you have collected over the years. Whether it is that Casio calculator watch from elementary school and your amazing spidey watch from junior high, or your Omega watch with a contrasting Rolex. This is the best way to show it. I recently purchased this display, and it completed my overall gentlemen display. Of course I am far from a gentleman, but at least I can fool a female when they walk in ( I kid I kid). So lets look at the Pros and Cons.Pros -1) Just the right amount of slots for the average man and amount of watches. Not an overkill necessarily. The neutral color scheme also assisted in not overpowering the color set of the watches themselves.2) The glass top makes it perfect to display the watches, whether you leave the top open or closed.3) the decorative lock although not truly effective, does add a display of charm and false security.4) finally the wood grain just adds that classic taste. (No they don't carry it in carbon fiber with NOS stickers)Cons1) The slots could be wider. I have a few dive watches that have a wide face, and they tend to be a bit large and intrude on the watch next to it causing a bit of overcrowding.2) Perhaps a bit of a nub or some sort of means to open and close the case without touching the glass, the glass definitely attracts fingerprints and there is no way to hide those prints.Besides that, I definitely recommend this set up. Make that guest in your bedroom think that Casio calculator watch is a valuable collectors edition, and you are one hell of a gentleman.

You should know that when others see this watch case, they will inquire as to where you got it and how much it costs. Because, it is so pretty. I am buying maybe five more for Christmas presents this year. Holds 12 watches nicely. The quality is very nice it is very nicely made

Case is classy, nice color and looks great but the pillows are not soft type. Make sure to adjust the band to hold the pillow tight and watches secure. The packaging was done professionally and well securing the glass lid. I will buy more for gift.
