Great service and beautiful products
Excellent customer service and prompt communication directly from one of the two owners.Next to some masago, the Caviart looks exactly like tobiko, the higher end sushi roe.The individual pearls are not mushed together like some at home spherification project. They have a firm crunch, individual definition, and they clump together just right for a convincing presentation. The jars have plenty of Caviart for a fun sushi night get together at home or several snacks and main dishes such as bagels, pastas, stuffed tomatoes, and salads. The flavor reminds me of salty veggie broth, delicious and *different*.Caviart is a plant-based alternative to traditional roe, and I would even recommend this to non-vegans as a fun and delicious way to explore something new.

Horrible experience
This caviar product was the worst thing I have ever purchased. The taste was horrible and I don’t know how you can sell something like this. Don’t you have people who test your products before you put them on line to sell.

Like the real thing.
I bought this to serve to a vegan friend who has never had real caviar. The most amazing thing about it is that when you bite into it, it is almost exactly like biting into real caviar. I don’t know how they did this.

Texture, color, overall appears very appetizing.
More salt flavor than fish aroma. Expected a little more bit in that regard but not bad all things considered. If you have individuals who are vegetarians than this is a very nice alternative.

Good texture, but missing that bite
Very interesting product. I would never have guessed these were vegan if someone served them to me. The texture is spot on. They aren't as salty as true caviar, and missing a bit of that stronger umami flavor. But still great for hors d'oeuvres. Worth trying!

Yuck!
Disgusting. Avoid. I got this because i have never tried caviar and wanted to, but i didnt want to try he real stuff because i accidentally saw a video of how the real stuff is obtained and it horrified me. So i cant say how this stuff compares to the reAl stuff, but whatever taste this is, it is nothing i ever want in my mouth ever again. And that goes for the red and the black, both!

A trick to make it taste even better
This stuff is BOMB… if you add about a tsp of canola oil to it and stir it in.Real caviar has fat, and that tiny bit of added fat makes it much richer and smoother just like real caviar.Until I realized what it was missing, it just felt thin even though the flavor was relatively similar to real caviar. However, when I realized nutrition facts said 0 fat, I realized why the taste was off.You can try different oils to see what you like best, but for me a relatively flavorless oil like Canola or MCT works well.Seriously, this tiny adjustment has made it 10X better for me!!
