Good choice
This leg massager is fantastic! The wrapping sensation during the massage is so strong that it makes me feel like my whole leg is gently pampered. Every time I use it after exercise, the fatigue is swept away and the entire person is much more relaxed. I especially like the design of its multiple modes, you can choose according to different needs, which is thoughtful.

FIT KING Leg and Foot Boots Massager - Upgraded Air Compression Leg and Foot Massager for Circulation and Pain Swelling Edema Relief - Pressure Sensor & LCD Display & 3 Timer OptionalThe over-the-counter compression boots [no prescription needed] come packaged in a recyclable brightly colored retail cardboard box. Inside the box are the two boots, the pressure pump assembly, a wall wart style transformer power adapter, a handy nylon material storage/carrying case, and a multi-page instruction booklet.Looking at the leg assemblies , there is a frame going from top to bottom that helps hold it in place while you're getting your leg into it. There is a large gap over the knee area, so you won't have any pressure squishing on your knees. Please note there is no block off piece for the pump head to allow you to use just one side at a time, this unit is designed to use both legs simultaneously. The boot assemblies are marked left and right. The two tube connector that goes from the leg assembly to the air motor has a connector marked ‘up’ and the connector is also keyed, so you can only put it in one direction. The assembly is long enough that it does come to the upper thigh (on a 5 '4 woman) There are a total of four bladders on each side. One on the foot, two in the lower leg and a single one on the thigh. When donning the leg bladders, be certain that you have your heel seated in the cup in the foot area. If you don't have your foot placed correctly, when you start up the machine it will squish on your toes, and nobody wants that. There are multiple settings on the motor, For both massage patterns as well as different time periods can be set. When you are using the therapy device, there is an air bladder over your foot, an air bladder in two positions on the calf, and an air bladder on the thigh area. Please note, that this machine is sized for smaller people. If your leg Is fairly swollen and you have a larger physique, this may not fit you.As for the care of Device after using it, the instructions recommend using a soft cloth moistened with a soap solution. A friend that is a medical tech recommended using Lysol wipes, which is pretty much the same thing with an antibacterial added in.The bottom line on this device? It does work to help combat edema, but only for people that are physically smaller. Personally, I recommend getting physicians approval with four starting this or similar medical techniques on yourself.

Decent Budget-priced Compression Massager
This is a reasonably priced leg compression / massager (without heat). It doesn’t do full leg compression as there is a gap near the knee. That could either be a positive or negative depending on how you look at it. The full leg versions can actually get a bit sweaty if your leg is fully enclosed. This does allow a bit of breathability. It also has an opening by the toes that some do not have for additional air flow. You velcro the part around your thigh so you can adjust the compression a bit that way. This one has a cord so you have to plug in at all times. It has a pre-defined list of time slots (of 20 / 25 / 30). You can run longer sessions but you just have to restart it when the first session finishes. It also has the intensities (min, mid, max). With the 3 modes, you can try different compressions strengths, lengths, and types to achieve the desired results. It works pretty well and I found the compression to be pretty comparable to more expensive leg devices. For the price, I found this to be a perfectly reasonable device. You will get a few more features (portability, different timer options, finer strength control, etc). But those can cost $100’s more or even a thousand dollars more. The only thing you’re absolutely missing is compression around the knee (top of calf, bottom of thigh). If you were wanting to try out leg compression massagers, this would be a good starter set. If you find it to be helpful and want to venture into a more expensive set later, you could always do so. It would be way better than spending $1,200 and finding out it wasn’t exactly what you expected it to be. For the price range, it's a perfectly reasonable device.
