This is the best nail polish I’ve ever had, it lasts for ages, beating all its competitors! I also love the fact you can make the colours matte or shiny, using the different top coats. You can get all the colours of the rainbow too, a great selection! 🌈

Essie is one of my favourite brands of nail polish so I was looking forward to trying this gel like formula. The bottle of this polish is particularly nice looking and makes a change from the standard nail polish bottle, it elevates the look of the product I feel.The polish applies easily and smoothly and I found it a little bit more runny than usual polishes but it was still good to work with. You definitely couldn't get away with just one coat of this polish though, two or possibly even three coats are needed to get a nice even finish.I do love this colour, it is what I would call a denim blue shade. It's a colour that can easily be worn year round and looks particularly nice as a toe polish too.I can't get away with wearing it for 15 days though as I started to have very slight chipping to my nails after about 36 hours. Nothing too major that ruin the look of the nails, but if I look closely then they have certainly started to chip. Four or five days is about the maximum I can get away with before I feel I need to remove it. I would note though that my hands go through a lot each day, lots of washing and manual jobs so it is difficult for me to wear nail polish for any length of time.Overall though I love the product and would certainly buy other colours to try in the future.

I have been using Essie Gel Courture for over a year. This is a beautiful colour for summer. I usually get at least 7-10 days out of it along with the stage 2 top coat. Highly recommend this whole line of colours.

Do not buy this gel polish. It has been a nightmare. I used it on top of a base coat (despite the instructions advising me to use two coats of the polish and a top coat). Despite the base coat, my nails were stained blue. I tried every possible way to remove the staining but was unable to and it lasted for around 4 weeks. It was very concerning as it makes you wonder what it actually contains that does this to nails.I did contact Essie who were extremely unhelpful - a different person each time, but the basically said it was nothing to do with them. I consider it a health hazard.
