Good add-on set
This small magnetized set has unique Pete the cat themed pieces including characters. It is compatible with standard magnet tiles sets. There are not a lot of pieces but are good add-ons to existing sets. The magnets are standard strength. The designs have not peeled or had other issues.

FINALLY a Pete the Cat magnetic tiles set for Pre-K!!!
PicassoTiles 24 piece Pete the Cat home themed magnetic tiles set is very GROOVY! I have waited for a company to do a Pete the Cat magnetic tiles set for the classroom for years and here it is!I have been a Pre-K teacher for over 10 years and have a massive magnetic tiles collection including 125+ sets from Amazon. Let's take a look at this awesome set! These tiles are standard sized and fully compatible with all your standard sized tiles in your collection. These will blend flawlessly and work well with all other name brands. I consider this small set of 24 pieces to be a specialty add on/extension set due to its size.Let's look at accuracy of the ad first. Many companies exaggerate the amount of product or show multiple sets in their pictures. This ad is very accurate. The picture that shows the tile count of each shape is organized by which tiles are double printed, single printed and triangles. These pieces are VERY cool in person. The pictures don't do these the justice they deserve honestly. My photos show exactly what can be built. Let's break down what is in the box.Box contents: (18 squares, 6 triangles)4- yellow floorboards (one side only printed) squares, back side clear4 - 9 paned TRANSPARENT WINDOW house scene squares (green/yellow indoor rooms one side- red outdoor house with wildflowers on back)2- yellow 2 paned TRANSPARENT WINDOW squares (clapboard siding/board slats on one side- yellow walls on back)4- double side solid printed indoor scene squares ( Pete, Gus, Grumpy Toad, Squirrel, Alligator, Turtle, Octopus, painted Goldie character; painting and playing in the band)-(Bob, Mom and Pete showing through printed window scene outdoor with partial green door on back)4- double side print indoor scenes of art, windows one side- red shingles/clapboards, bumble bees, flower blossom on back squares4- double side printed triangles with red shingles/clapboards with yellow fascia trim one side- yellow or green plain walls with music notes on back2- double side printed TRANSPARENT ROUND WINDOW triangles with plain green or yellow wall one side-red shingles/clapboards and yellow fascia house trim on back.Let's look at aesthetics and what is included first. This set has a theme of Pete the Cat home. This set includes scenes or characters from multiple Pete the Cat books. The picture on the box, for instance, has the Gus Bus from Pete the Cat and the New Guy. The indoor band scenes on the tiles are also from that book. The goldfish Pete is painting and the hanging goldfish picture tiles are from A Pet for Pete book. The turkey on the wall from Pete the Cat the First Thanksgiving book.It is hard to chose favorite pieces with this set. All the tiles look like they are straight out of the book and are going to make fantastic companion materials for my students to extend our book reads. I do love the transparent window panes that allow children to look inside their structure, like looking into a real house. SO COOL! This set is bringing the characters to life. I already have the Pete the Cat figure pack which should compliment this set well. I also noticed a new PicassoTiles 6 pack of magnetic Pete the Cat characters to go with these! Can't wait to check those out!OK, let's look at magnetism. To test magnetism I dangle a line of squares from a single square to see how many it will hold. All my 125+ sets range from a weak 5 tile line to a snappy 8 tiles long. The vast majority of brands fall into the 6-7 tile range which I consider average magnetism. This set tests out at 6 tiles which is average/slightly below average magnetism and will compliment your collection well.I consider magnetic tiles to be one of the very best learning toys in the Pre-K classroom. Tiles are open-ended STEM learning manipulatives that foster creativity and support many of our Early Childhood learning targets for 3-5 year olds. Tiles are engaging and are one of the very few toys that stay out on the shelf for students all year long. Kids play with them daily and they are frequently crashing to the floor. These toys last for years and have huge learning potential. Add cars, toy people, animals, rocks, trees and fences then watch the new realm of creativity unfold. This set brings a whole new level of COOL to magnetic tiles. Every Pre-K classroom I have ever been in has a collection of Pete the Cat books that are read every September to introduce concepts like: colors, counting to 10, being at school, meeting new friends, rhyming, reading and a whole slew of important concepts for 3-4 year olds. This set of support resources that extend learning will surely be used and loved in my classroom. Of my 125+ sets of magnetic tiles, this one is top 5 for me, up there with my Eric Carle sets, roads, fire truck and crane sets.I hope PicassoTiles comes out with support sets for Pete the Cat and His 4 Groovy Buttons, Rockin in My School Shoes and I Love My White Shoes. Those are absolute classics for Pre-K teachers! LOVE this product and looking forward to the next unique tile set from this innovative company. A++ Ages 3+

cute themed name brand magnet tiles
My 5 year has loved all magnet tiles since she was 3 years old. These are no exception, and name brand to boot! The Pete the Cat theme is cute and probably targetted at a slightly younger age range (2-4).This set is a great addition as it fits and builds well with all other similar sized tiles, and has some fun themed artwork on the tiles. Even if you don’t have any tiles yet, this would be a great starter set.

Play with Pete the Cat!
James Dean's Pete the Cat and friends decorate this Magnetic Tiles set from PicassoTiles. My wife says that with the little ones that she works with at Sunday school, magnetic tiles are a very popular thing. So we decided to get this set as part of a donation for a holiday toy donation drive.Compared to other magnetic tile sets, these are thicker. They're also double-sided, allowing for kids to make a 3-D farm house for Pete to dwell. One neat thing I tested out was getting to make a 3-D pyramid out of 4 triangular tiles. It was pretty cool getting it to not only neatly fit in but to hold its shape. The strength of the interior magnets made the structure feel pretty solid.A great gift for artistic and creative play.
