FRREZE IT
Why did you choose this product over others?:I've had this before and you'll see a lot of reviews talking about it's accessibility and maybe a lack of depth. The producers recommend based on it's production location that this should be served from the freezer. Although this goes against EVERYTHING I love about whiskey I have tried this and it changes everything!!The flavours really open up like a Frosted Christmas treat, nose of toffee apples and sultanas, pallate gives baking spices and apple crumble, finishes with sticky honey and nutmeg.Delightful must have for the festive season and I URGE you to have this in the freezer.

An excellent and nuanced, slightly sweet whiskey
It may be called winter gold but its subtle honey notes and lack of peat makes it more of a summer whiskey for me. If you prefer a lighter flavoured whiskey and aren’t looking for something strong and smokey this is the perfect choice.

Excellent midweek nip.
A lovely low priced midweek sipper. With a hint of honey and spice perfect to heat you up. It is a smooth whisky which makes it very drinkable. Only downside was my box for the whisky came damaged, person who picked it had to have noticed it. Good job the box doesn't affect the taste.

Ridiculously good whisky
This has been on offer for a while now, and I took a flier on it. I’m no fan of excessively peaty malts. This, as Goldilocks may have said had the three bears been drinkers, is just right. It’s as smooth as silk and full of flavour. It doesn’t taste of peat bogs or smoke, but of honey and spice. The colour is golden and the drink is warming but gentle - no larynx is damaged in the supping. The advice is to chill it in a freezer. I tried that and it was gorgeous. Since which I have tried it at various temperatures and, do you know what, it’s great at any. But chilled is special, when the whisky is thick and glutinous. The only problem is it’s difficult to stop at one.
