KINSHO Stainless Steel Bento with Removable Tray, Green

As you can see in the photo, part of the lid chipped after the box was dropped, and I noticed mold inside the upper lid. The problem is that it's not washable, and there’s no way to separate the inner plastic lid from the outer lid. I’ll have to trash it and buy a new one. I’m going with b.box because they are much lighter and washable inside and out, though unfortunately, they’re not stainless steel.

I soaked the box and handwashed after disassembling all parts only to discover that water will get trapped inside the two layers of the lid and was sloshing around. I had to use a knife and pry open a corner of the lid to shake out as much water as I could. While the box itself is a good size, especially if you're used to the design of the kinsho mini boxes, this is a concerning flaw that can easily result in mold.

Obviously the inner stainless steel part of the box can go in the dishwasher, but it says the outside plastic part is not dishwasher safe and it's a pain to clean. Also my 3 year old pulled the rubber seals off the box at school and they never made it home. Now, it leaks all over the place if I pack fruit. Too much money for what you get.

Not recommended. The box has such small compartments that you can't put anything there, not even half a sandwich

I liked it has 3 part to put food but it is sooo small it doesn’t even get enough quantity for my toddler. I will return it .
