I don’t think I would call them sports shoes? They are comfortable, non-slip lightweight shoes for casual wear. Not in anyway protective from weather but the sole is sufficiently thick to stop all but the sharpest stones being felt through it. I quite like mine and find them comfortable around the house and outside on pathways. Price and quality are not outstanding but average for this price range so three stars.JC
