I've been a professional hair stylist for 30 years. This is a good quality build. I love the built in comb which is something most people would have to get used to, excellent for doing keratin smoothing treatments. I would rather have the heat setting increments closer together, like 400-410 vs 400-425 but overall I’m happy with it

Love the flat iron and comb combo. Leaves hair very sleek, straightens pretty fast and it's easy to handle. It worked well on my medium coarse curly hair.

I was excited about this iron!!! Its really only designed to straighten hair and thats it. I didnt like the fact that it was a mystery to turn the iron off either. You cannot use this iron to bump the bottom of the hair, nor can you put a fair amount of hair in the iron to straighten at one time. Very small partings.... I just had better expectations being that the other reviews raved about how well it worked! It gets hot but its just not the best to use for styling, only straightening.

This is the best flat iron I have ever bought in my life, and the only one I would use on my only daughters hair. The reason I say this is the plates are titanium (a high quality, durable metal that conducts heat well, meaning you can use a lower temperature and do fewer passes). There are two removable combs ( I never could do the chase method before this, and that gives you a straighter, sleeker look). Even if you can do that chase method the combs give you perfect positioning with less work. The combs are durable, they do do not break (unlike the the steam comb I bought from Sally's that lost a tooth the first time I used it, and costed twice as much). The iron has a swivel cord that is very long. When combined with the Mazani 4 step thermasmooth system you have hair that looks like you just walked out of the salon every day. Plus it is a long lasting straight look that does not change your curls permantly, and there is less snagging and breakage.

I like the attached comb. That was the only reason I bought it. I have a hard time adjusting the heat. If I put it on the highest heat, it does the job but I can smell my hair burning. If I turn down the heat, it does not straighten as well. I have thick, coarse Asian hair so it's always hard to find tools that work well.

After searching for months for a flat iron with a comb and watching the product video, I ordered this. I followed the directions and removed the comb from one side. I loved the flat iron from the start. Unlike my current flat iron, the comb is secure in place and doesn't slide out on it's own. It is easier to use on my curly fine hair. I then ordered a second one to keep in my travel bag. My daughter came home from college for the weekend, tried it, and immediately fell in love with how smooth and silky it made her hair. She finally achieved the style she has been craving. I gave her one of mine to take back to college, and then ordered a third one for me to keep again. Two are pink and one is blue. This flat iron is just okay. The plates don’t clamp tight so it’s hard to get your hair super straight. You have to flat iron large chunks at a time to get the plates to clamp tight enough to make a difference. But then you did a large chunk, so it’s still not that flat. But I like the comb which helps people with coarse frizzy hair to not get those little frizzy bits at the end that are flat, but crimped.This iron also broke after a month of use. The power button broke, and the iron won’t turn on anymore. They said I could send it back but did not say that they would pay for return shipping as the amazon window already closed. Probably wouldn’t buy again. I think I’ll pay the money for something that is higher quality. The plastic feels cheap and the buttons are questionable.

This product is AMAZING!!! I have purchased 4 hair straightening tools over the last few months and none seemed to give me the results that I was looking for. I have very fine hair and when I leave the salon, it looks shiny, silky and gorgeous. I was trying to accomplish that at home with little luck. A co-worker let me borrow her flat iron with the built in comb and I liked the results. Her tool was over $150. I have 2 small children in day care..... I can't afford that for a beauty product. I found this Glyder on Amazon and thought " Amazon is really easy to return an unwanted product, so why not?" I have had it for almost 2 weeks and I love it. It was very inexpensive and is a miracle tool.
