MINIX Neo G4 dual core dongle pocket size pc

Was not as powerful as I expected. Poor WIFI performance and while it could run the latest version of Kodi it could not stream even 480P movies or TV shows.

This little device is great. It replaced my huge, dual-core 3 gigahertz, media PC and runs everything I need it to. After upgrading the firmware to the most recent version, the device runs great. MX Video player enables the device to play back just about any video you throw at it. If you have a Wireless N router at your home, you can stream HD content to the Minix and watch it on the HDTV in the living room.The only problem is that there is a slight delay in the display. So if you move your mouse quickly, you will notice a 50 or 100 ms delay before it registers. As if it takes the signal a little while to reach the TV. This usually has no effect on what you are doing unless you are running an emulator like Super Nintendo and you tell Mario to jump and it takes him a split second to actually jump.Otherwise this is a GREAT device. Highly suggested!

Defective software made me send it back.

I had perhaps too-high expectations for this unit. It works, and provides a nice means to surf the net using my TV, but......when I try to scan left and right in Hulu and Netflix apps, it won't.This is probably a fault of some conflict between the app and a setting on the Neo G4. It could probably be fixed by a tech telling me how to access some code.I contacted their customer support. Well, I attempted to do so. I was met with a very pleasant e-mail, but that led to a dead end. In the end, the person I spoke with was not technical support, did not convey anything useful, and basically ended the conversation with, "that's been discontinued," leading me to believe that since that's the case, they don't care.It was recommended that I contact the seller for a return.Instead, I kept the unit as a web surfing tool, and am using another product for movies and TV.

Excellent powerful little device that shows 1080p. Processor is fast enough for videos and music. With Android 4.1.1 so much you can do from your favorite games to productivity apps. Media streaming is quite good when compared to my ATV 3rd generation. I like this little device comes with microsd card slot for photos or videos. It is left on all day everyday there are no overheating problems. I would highly recommend this product its affordable and works great for the price.

Item was advertised as Bluetooth capable. It is not. Returned and received refund in reasonable amount of time.

good product the only thing taht i didin't like it was the fact that doesn't have a button to turn it off, but it's a design problem!

This little android device turned my kitchen tv into a handy internet tv and internet connection for e-mail and netflix. Has no problem connecting to my comcast cable wireless N router. The router is in the living room about 30 feet away. Love it's simplicity. Hooked it up to the logitech wireless mini keyboard with touch pad and it all works flawlessly. Very happy with this purchase.
