This is an amazing watch. I have the blacked out version and the stainless steel band non-blacked out version.This watch is large which I love. It gives off smartwatch vibes, especially the blacked out version. The stainless steel version is big and handsome on the wrist.It has a repeatable timer that I find invaluable for work. For instance, I will set a repeatable 2-minute timer for continuous reminders. The timer is customizable. This thing also has dual time and a stopwatch along with five alarms that are customizable even by date if you desire. I very much like the informative alarm status circle. Sometimes I need to turn off certain alarms for the weekend. Also, this has an extra snooze alarm setting that triggers the alarm every 5 minutes.You're not going to find a repeatable timer coupled with a stainless steel band option even close to this. This timer is completely customizable unlike the ae1300. Also, this has a useful dial pertaining to the five alarms, unlike the fluff found on other competitors. The AE 1200 Casio Royale has a useless map which looks cool but useless, along with a digital analog that is hard to read. On the other hand, this watch has a useful alarm circle. And finally, this is a big masculine watch. It commands attention.Go for the black on black for a smartwatch vibe.Or go for the stainless steel band for status piece on the wrist.

Just received it today. Why does Amazon insist on shipping watches in padded envelopes rather than in a box? Anyhow, so far, so good. It works, and isn't designed to need a rocket scientist to set it up. Wish it had a 24-hour capability. The band is TOO LONG. I tightened it up as much as it will go, and the watch still flops around on my wrist, It will rotate 180 degrees without difficulty. Guess I must have little girlie-man wrists these days. Anyway, that's annoying.Edited to add: NOT HAPPY with this POS! It's nearly impossible to read the time even in daylight without illuminating it. In addition, the crystal must be made of plastic, because it's already all scratched up, and I don't wear the watch if I'm doing any type of work around the house. Do not recommend.Amended to say that I am dissatisfied and will not be a repeat customer. The case is huge; the numbers displaying the time are tiny. Since that is a watch’s primary purpose, that is unacceptable. The dial for the alarms is much larger. I have to wonder why. Also, the display is so dark and small that I find that I need to illuminate it in order to see it even in daylight. Do better, Casio.

Purchased for my husband... and he loved it. Can be worn casual and dressy. He likes that he can dress up with it and wear it casual. The stainless steel is very super light weight compare to a designer brand I have which is a bonus.

I was suppose to give this as a gift, but good thing i check the condition yesterday and I was shocked when i remove the plastic cover the glass is full of scratches
