Great plants, great buy!
I have to admit, when they arrived i was not impressed. Looks like slugs had been to the buffet with the amount of leafage missing. But i read the instructions, planted two outdoors, one in my office under a mild grow light, watered them all and went out of town for a few days. After returning, all three plants had grown more 2-3 leaves, and looked like completely different plants. So far the indoor plant is keeping pace with the outdoor plants and i am more than satisfied with these plants. 100% worth it!

Arrived Quickly and Grew Quickly After Adjusting!
These arrived quickly. I took them out of the package and planted them in the shade. Once they started adjusting, to being out of the box, I moved them to the sun and they took off. I have one planted in the yard and 2 by my pool in 10 gallon containers that already need to get planted into bigger containers. We eat these in salads, or cook them like cabbage. They are great plants! In love.

These are not plants
These are not plants! They are cuttings stuck in a pot of dirt! Not a single root on any of the cuttings. $50 for 3 cuttings is ridiculous. Save your money!

Happy Tree (Collards)!
Very happy with the quality and very clear care instructions were included. They were delivered to the east cost from the west coast, so were a little wilted upon arrival but perfectly healthy. I planted them in wet dirt in a 20 gallon cloth pot and added some rooting hormone for good measure. They are sharing a pot for a few months and I will separate them when I can get out safely to buy dirt. It turns out several other people in my gardening group on Facebook have ordered from Project Tree Collard with positive results as well, both rooted plants and cuttings. I ordered them in part as an emergency food supply in case what is happening now... well, happened. Therefore I did not want to risk a failed cutting and paid a little more for a rooted plant. No one in my gardening group reported failed a cutting from Project Tree Collard, which is very impressive considering they were delivered by mail from California to the Carolinas.Update: 4 months in they have grown over 3 feet tall. Shocked at how quickly they grew. Picture is attached. They are on the far right towering over my citrus trees..

Easy, reliable, tasty.
I ordered these in late August and they came in early September, which is around the hottest time of the year where I live in FL. The day they arrived it was, of course, in the mid-90s and I was a little worried about my decision when I came home from work to find them sitting in my mailbox - BUT - they were fine. Some of the leaves were faded to yellow but there was at least one fully viable leaf on each plant, and the plants were a little wilted. The condition they arrived in was decent and I was not surprised because the traveled across the whole country during the hottest part of the year. I would suggest that you take those things into consideration when ordering, of course.Upon opening them, I wet them and put them each on a plate, opened up the bottom of the soft pots, and placed them directly into a pot with good soil. Within 3 days they each had at least one new leaf and they continued to grow. Now that it is getting cool at night (50s or so) I am seeing the purple come out in the leaves and they are getting tall. I have had to transplant each of these each at least once and I will maintain them in containers, since I have read that these are container friendly. They are all doing great and the leaves are sweet with the cooler temps. I highly recommend these and I can't wait to enjoy them for years to come, plus they are very easy plants.

Great plant but susceptible to cabbage worms
Transplanted great to a temporary pot and finally to a permanent bed. I don't know about other areas of the country but in Va, these are a magnet for cabbage worms. Last year, all the cuttings I had were decimated in two days. This year, I've been using the Safer Brand catapillar killer sold on Amazon in a sprayer. Works perfectly and is a bacteria that doesn't harm humans or pets. Neem oil is useless.
