This book gives so many ideas and inspiration of things to do with little ones, using ideas based on the montessori method. Ideal for parents, grandparents and anyone else caring for young children.

I am very pleased with the purchase of this book. Instructions are clear and there is a wide range of activities for different age groups. Our daughter has enjoyed the activities we tried so far!

Good quality

I bought this book for my 1 year old hoping that it would give me more of a background on montessori teaching and some ideas of things to do with her. There is very little information about montessori methods and the ideas for children my daughter's age are things that most people do anyway (eg peekaboo and singing 'if you're happy and you know it').There are more suggestions for older children and these are slightly more imaginative, but it's really just a book of things to do rather than specifically about montessori.

I got this book from the library and like it so much I have just ordered my own copy. Its got lots of great ideas in to do at home with toddlers, not just the usual crafts, painting, playdough, singing etc like other books I looked at suggested. I also really like that it breaks the activities into areas of development and gives you a timeline of their development in each area, as it made me more aware of the skills I should be giving my daughter the opportunities to develop. I have already earmarked about 15 ideas to try, and I'm sure I will revisit it as she grows and moves onto the next stage. Great book!
