It works great. Took maybe an hour to install. I looked up a YouTube video on how to install a radio in my ford fusion. It has a backup camera that you can also connect to it however, I just decided not to add that on took maybe 45 minutes to an hour to install which isn’t bad. additionally you do not need a trim removal tool for this. I didn’t know that and I accidentally bought a trim kit and I did not need it it cause it includes one for you.

Really easy to install, still need run the camera but shouldn't be too bad. Works great, connected to the son's IPhone no problem.If installing in an F150 use power wire B. Great value!

Pretty easy and simple instal works as intended

I installed this in a 2006 mustang. It fits great, not exactly oem around the edges, but it looks right at home. The included instructions are simple, and thorough. The unit is highly customizable, by region, vehicle type, time zones, units of measure (mph or kmph). I set my unit to 2014 mustang, and it works perfectly. (it was the only mustang to choose from in the settings) Custom boot screens can be set, and I'm sure there is even a way to change the home screen, but I didn't get into it today. The instructions include the code needed to change any settings, and even upload your own firmware. It even comes with an installed app, that allows you to set your steering wheel controls, to whatever you want them to do..The included harness makes install a breeze. If your vehicle has a shaker system, or steering wheel controls, simply plug the can bus adapter into the car harness, the amplifier out to the amplifier of the car harness, and the aux in, to the aux in. The original antenna works with no adapter, but you need to remove a guide clip from the antenna cable, and re-rout it through the console frame to gain enough length. Route your microphone, and GPS antenna. Then just use your original mounting hardware to bolt it all up. Done..It's a great unit. The sound clarity is better than any other android unit I have used. The radio tuner, is outstanding. Exceeding OEM quality, and any car in my driveway. (there are quite a few) It does everything you could want it to do, how you want it to do it, and does it at a price the name brand units that are inferior at..Check Metra's vehicle connector guide. If this 04-08 f150 is on the same connector harness kit as your vehicle, this unit will work with it.

Just finished installing this stereo head into my 2010 F350- easy peasy install, I just watched several videos on YouTube University and I had it in the dash within an hour and half. (if I were to do it again- I would be done in 30 minutes...) The feature I was wanting was the CarPlay connection with my iPhone- works great. Now I have my apps from my phone in this old XL model F350.....feels like a 'KING RANCH' edition now....sort of.....! 5 Stars.

Very nice upgrade for my older Ford. It fits perfectly and was pretty easy to install. I didn't run in to any issues with it, very happy with the additional functionality as well, I love the backup camera function. That alone is a definite reason to upgrade the head unit in my truck but the unit as a whole (touch screen, better sound options, navigation, etc.) was the real reason. 10/10 from me, highly recommend this stereo head unit. Decent price too, especially considering how long it will last and what it actually does. Very happy!

We wanted an upgrade to the factory radio for our 2004 F150. Installation was very easy ant the sound quality is so much better. It has a lot more features than the old one. I like that it has Bluetooth and navigation functions. It fit perfectly into the space. It is very good quality and a good value.
