I was hopeful that this Video Doorbell was the answer to my dreams of NOT getting and paying for a service like the more pricey Ring Video Doorbell. I was sorely disappointed.Out of the box, the doorbell refused to be set up. The instructions are very poorly translated into English and extremely brief. There's no support for the process either. Four literate adults attempted to install the Yeoman Video Doorbell, but it refused to pair with any iOS device using the companion app.Additional information: There does not seem to be a companion wireless chime box (♫ ding-dong! ♫) for this product neither on Amazon or elsewhere on the internet – and the little mention of a "ding dong doorbell" in the instructions is a passing thought. If you think, "oh, I'll just buy a third-party chime box!" good luck. Even if I had been able to set up the Yeoman, I couldn't find such a thing that was sold separately to be paired with the Yeoman. I returned this product the next day and bought a Ring 2, reluctantly, instead — as well as two chime boxes and a subscription (which I was so excited about NOT having to pay for a subscription with the Yeoman... it seemed too good to be true!).

The camera itself works pretty well, but the app is not great. At first, the app would only save footage when motion was detected, but it's stopped saving any footage altogether. Also, there's far too much lag time with both being notified of motion and with the app actually loading up the footage. With that said, if you're looking for a camera that let's you view only live footage, this works. Otherwise, if you want to review past footage or see live footage quickly when motion is detected, you should look elsewhere. Also, the battery only lasts about a week!

So far, I am SUPER happy with this Video Doorbell. We couldn't hear our regular doorbell very well at all in our house because it only had one chime. Now I can hear it from both my phone and my apple watch and so can my husband from his android phone and watch. I love that I can see who is at the door and talk to them prior to answering. I don't even have to leave the comfort of my bed if I don't want to haha. You can playback video if you miss someone at the door as well. Great product for a great price and easy to install!

This doorbell was a waste of money. It did not work with any cell phone I tried to pair it with, and the minuscule directions were not helpful in the least. I kept trying thinking maybe I was doing something wrong. And to no avail, nothing worked. I tried reaching out for support but apparently missed that window. Now I'm stuck with this useless doorbell and now have to buy one that actually works. Be forewarned.

Awesome thank you!!! 3rd time is a charm!!!! I bought 2 of these ( front door/backdoor) 2nd2after purchased 2 others that didn't work out ,1st would not let me add a 2nd one for back door... Next purchase both would use the included batteries daily !!!! Because of this I have never purchased same brand.. The only drawback I have is the Ring tones are the same
