I have three of these, and love them. The cotton is good quality, and one that I've had for a year now is still in great condition. The sizing is right-on, with a bit of extra room for comfort. The fabric has a nice feel, with a "slightly brushed" quality that makes them feel a bit warmer like flannel, even though they're knit. They're a nice weight - enough to give you some warmth without being too hot.They're also really pretty. There's a little bit of difference between the different colors. The light blue and aqua seem to be a bit thicker than the dark blue....but not really too much difference. The most recent one I bought was the light blue, and for some reason the facing on the front of the neckline wasn't sewn down like the other ones. I just tacked it down - no problem - but hopefully this isn't a "new feature" because they're better with the facing sewn down. I will continue to buy these.

This nightgown is just what I have been looking for, and I bought a second one and might even buy a third! The cotton flannel has a very low-nap so it feels more like a medium weight, super smooth and soft cotton than a flannel. I am fully covered in this lovely cotton, but it is light enough that I am not hot at night. The sleeves are long but easy to push up. The neckline is pretty but smooth and flat, not lacy and scratchy. I love the embroidery detail at the cuffs and collar. I am 5'2" and 144 pounds and I bought medium, which fits me fine. It is above my ankle which I am glad of because I am short. It is a medium fit on me--not too slim and not at all "fitted", and also not too large. The slimmer lines of it ensure that it is not bulky or cumbersome as I turn in bed at night, and it is actually a flattering fit, not old-fashioned and billowing. I saw reviews that said it ran small--I disagree. I also saw people who reported that it shrank in the wash, but if mine did shrink I didn't notice it. I am picky about my nightgowns and there are no negatives about this nightgown as far as I am concerned. I highly recommend it.

I’m happy with this purchase because it’s cotton fabric which is a cool, comfortable choice for a nightgown. It has a pretty design and little buttons. Also ordered one for a gift!

Soft, pretty, but the sleeves are a bit short.

I like this nightgown so much, this is my second one. It is soft to sleep in, and washes like a dream.

My friend wanted a pretty nightgown that’s reasonably modest and comfortable so she needn’t pack a robe when visiting family. She loved it! When her next birthday rolled around, she asked if I’d get her another!I’ve bought her 3 so far. She says they’re slightly too long but fit perfectly after one wash. All 3 are still in good condition and I imagine she’ll want another one next year. The colors are pretty, the fabric is soft, no itchy stuff on it (the trimmings are comfortable) and they wear well. She says she wears them in all but the hottest New England weather. (She’s worn one for over 2 years and it still looks good)They’re good nightgowns!

If you have a tummy, I would go up a size larger than normal. It fits a little snug in that area. Otherwise, I love it. It is incredibly soft. I purchased it as a costume for a play, and it doesn't appear to be see through on stage. I haven't washed it yet, but I believe cold water and gentle cycle will be the best. It is truly 100% cotton. I am saving it for my performance so I have only had it on briefly to check if it was see through. As I said, it isn't.

I am not totally convinced the two nightgowns I bought and received are 100% cotton. The tags say 100% cotton but I still have my doubts. There is too much stretch, not enough thickness, and the material is a bit fuzzy feeling like polyester. I bought the cream colored and the green. They are a little thin for my liking especially for an alleged 100% cotton item. The cream nightgown is a tiny bit thicker than the green. I think of 100% cotton as being non-stretchable, thick, soft, and warm. Maybe if I stare at the tags long enough, I'll believe what I'm seeing. They are pretty and the length is nice. I am 5'3" and 117 lbs. I bought a size medium. I like a little room in my bed clothes. I will buy another brand next time. Something a bit more expensive or maybe from Land's End so I know I am buying from a reputable company. I have been wanting a 100% cotton nightgown with a little lace since watching "The Crown" so I am sad but I shall continue my quest.I had to add to this review. It has been about a month now. These are definitely 100% cotton. I love these nightgowns. They get softer and more comfy with every wash. I hang dry them except once. I threw them in the dryer by accident. They didn’t shrink. They are warm too! They will more than likely be cool in the warmer weather because of the cotton. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
