It’s decent fabric
It’s decent fabric, though not quite as thick as I expected. Still usable for lighter projects like pillowcases or linings, but I wouldn’t pick it for something needing structure. Arrived slightly wrinkled but otherwise fine.

Not suitable for my pillowcases!
I wanted some black cotton fabric for pillowcases, which the listing claimed this was suitable for, but have been very disappoined with it.I'm puzzled by the laundry instructions . . . . wash/iron/tumble dry at low temperature? Yes, this may be only what is required and is better for the environment, but you should be able to BOIL cotton and use an iron at its hottest setting, so are the instructions because it's not actually 100% cottong, or because the dye used won't stand hotter temperatures, or is it just reminding us to turn temperatures down wherever possible? Who knows? The fabric itself is woven with fairly thick threads and has a relatively open mesh (I've put a sheet of white paper under my black fabric in my photo, and you can definitely see it through the fabric!), and it certainly feels too rough for a pillowcase. (I wonder if the listing is using the American terminology and actually means what we would call cushion covers? It still wouldn't be sturdy enough for that purpose in our house!)I will use the fabric, but not for the intended purpose, so it's into stash for now, hence only 3 stars.
