If size is critical - this is the lightest, smallest, best quality one for you
The perfect step ladder for our kitchen. Folded up - it stores easily under the end of our kitchen island. It has nice wide steps and allows my wife to reach items in our upper cabinets. We also love the safety bar which gives us more security.

Very sturdy and stable
I just LOVE this little step ladder. I have balance issues and needed a stable step ladder. This is very well built and conveniently folds up. I love that it has the handle in front so you can hold on to it to stabilize in case you have balance issues like me. It has nice wide steps with rubber so that you do not slip. My son who is about 6 feet 4 inches and 270 pounds can use this and it is safe for someone who weighs that much where as many step ladders cannot handle that amount of weight. I thought it was a bit expensive for the price but have to say it is worth every penny! This is the absolute best step ladder you will find and you will not regret it!! 5 stars!!!!!!

This is a 6-star product!
It's hard to imagine a better built, more stable, more versatile step ladder than the Little Giant 2-Step Stool. It does several things that no other step stool I've seen does. Those differences make it suitable for many more use cases than a typical step stool. What makes the Little Giant different? Three specific aspects of its design. First, it has very wide feet that don't easily sink into soft dirt or through a grate. This step stool is not going to sink out from under you or become unstable because one foot sinks into a soft spot but the others do not.Second, it has a safety bar that can be moved out of the way. Most step stools have he safety bar which makes it easier to stand securely on the top step. This is great if you're using this product as a step stool. It is a deal killer if you're using is as temporary stairs. The temporary stairs use case is not something most step stools can handle. The fact that this stool has a safety bar that is both tall and moveable means that it offers to best of both worlds. You can grab the safety bar and keep tools on it in step stool mode. You can move it out of the way for stairs mode. There are a handful of other step stools that have no safety bar but none that have a moveable one. It's not just the safety bar that eliminates most step stools from serving as temporary stairs. The other design decision that limits this use case is the bottom step. Just about every step stool, safety bar or not, uses a narrow bottom step or tucks at least half of the bottom step underneath the top step. Either way, you have only enough space for your heel when walking down the steps in a forward direction. This is not safe. In contrast, the Little Giant's bottom step is actually larger than the top step and none of it sits below the top step. This final advantage not only makes walking down the step stool safe, but it creates a wider stance that further increases the stool's stability. For my use case, the Little Giant is a dream. I own a huge truck camper with a side entrance. A set of two steps hangs down nearly 12 inches below the door. These steps ruin the departure angle of my camper and catch on rocks, berms...anything that sticks up. Because I take my truck and camper down unmaintained dirt roads, I've managed to destroy my steps three times. But no longer. This step stool has allowed me to remove the stairs completely and get to places that I couldn't have gone before. I can stow it in the truck or camper when I'm moving and no longer worry about catching my stairs on sketchy dirt roads and tracks. And when I need a step stool, it is perfect for that too!The bottom line is that I would give this product six stars of I could. It is that good.

Great ladder!
Little Giant Ladders are fantastic! Sturdy, well-made and the steps in the Jumbo Step ladder make you feel very safe and make me think I am still standing on the floor!! I had to buy the 3-step ladder to reach some high cupboards, so just make sure you know the height you need to reach before you buy a ladder. I was trying to reach a shelf that was over 7 feet at the top (cleaning dry wall dust left by bad contractors) so I had to reach above the shelf to clean. I could not reach above 7 feet with this ladder, so I got the 3-step ladder and can reach it easily. Highly recommend this brand and style (Jumbo Step ladder) for high quality, stability and ease of use/movement. It's not too heavy for me to move it around my home to work on different areas.

Little giant ladder
Two step with bar, it’s great the steps are wide for large size foot, very sturdy cause the feet are flat, the bar helps me to get up. It’s very good, my daughter has been using it a lot to hang curtains and to reach the high shelves in the closet. Safety first you will feel safe. It is a bit heavy but not bad.

Lacks positive "hold closed" but otherwise stellar...
I needed a sturdy set of steps to help my kids get their bikes down (and put them away) on the hooks hanging from the garage ceiling. They're just at the strength and height they can sort of manage it, but the 18" extra height provided by these steps would surely help. I especially was attracted to the wide, "open" step design unlike most steps and short ladders, and also the retractable safety rail since it would just get in the way of the bike.Well mission accomplished, these steps fit the bill. Relatively light weight and easy to maneuver and stow. My complaint is that once folded up, it likes to flop open -- there's no latch, lock, or pinch point to keep it folded flat. It's a relatively minor problem but kind of annoying when I want to move it from one spot to another in the garage.Despite me having two other relatively compact, light-duty aluminum 2- and 3-step ladders, these also came in handy for accessing a work scaffolding I use for various projects around the house and in the yard. These steps are great because, again, the support folds down and doesn't block access. I have a feeling these are going to be a go-to piece of equipment from here on out.

Excellent Design - Quality Product!!
I found this stepladder to be easy to use and sturdy (and I'm not light) with plenty of room for one's feet. It is also lightweight and the tray is in a convenient place for both stability of the user and holding necessary objects.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
