Broken and squished
The popcorn tasted ok but it was very broken up into little pieces. I was only able to get a handful of big whole pieces but 90% of the bag was squished and broken. I was disappointed.

Very cheesy
I felt like it was a little expensive, but great cheese flavor! Would recommend.

Very particular taste that wasn't what I was looking for
I fell in love with Garrett's cheese popcorn over the summer and have since been looking for any reasonably-priced gourmet alternative that might be similar in taste. The first thing you should know is that Mike's tastes absolutely nothing like Garrett's.It may not have been what I was looking for but it's unfair to judge it for what it isn't, so how does it stack up objectively? Well for starters, I disagree with the occasional claim that it has no flavor- on the contrary, I felt that the flavor was sharp and strong. In fact, that's the main reason why it's not the popcorn for me. One of the reviews mentioned an overpowering coconut taste, and it's true that coconut is the first ingredient. I'm not sure if that's quite what I thought I was tasting, but whatever it was is definitely the main flavor. The popcorn is cheesy, definitely orange finger cheesy, but it doesn't quite TASTE like cheese. The other ingredients come together to create something of an exotic kind of tangy flavor that I wasn't expecting and didn't find altogether pleasant. The bag was tightly sealed and the popcorn itself was fresh and crisp, and there wasn't an overabundance of hulls or crumbs. The quality seems perfectly fine, I just couldn't finish the bag because of the strong flavor. If you've ever been to an inexpensive grocery store and grabbed a relatively unknown brand of air-popped cheese popcorn then you're probably familiar with the weird "cheddar but not really cheddar" taste- that's the first thing that this reminded me of.The popcorn doesn't taste bad, it just doesn't have the creamy cheddary flavor that I look for in a gourmet cheese popcorn. Try it if you're an open-minded popcorn fan in the mood for something a little different.

Better than most
Sooooo.....I went through this phase where I was seriously craving popcorn. Cheese flavor for dinner, caramel for dessert.I think part of that comes from being in my teens, having my first job near Chicago's famed Garrett's Popcorn shop, and I really DID eat popcorn for dinner pretty often. It was the pre-ramen noodle days! Now that the phase is over, thank goodness, I can settle down to having it as an occasional treat. In addition, I can review just about every gourmet popcorn out there, LOL!I've had the Mike's Caramel (for dessert, of course) as well as this cheese version. Both are WAY better than bagged grocery store brands.Just be warned, if you aren't used to a diet that is already high in sodium, this will be unbearably salty. It's almost hard to judge how cheesey it is, because the salt hits you so hard. So here's what I did....I ate a very salty saltine to get my palate ready. And there it was...cheese.Desensitize your tastebuds to salt and these are quite tasty little kernels.

Never Again
This brand was purchased along with another touted brand. Orange, stale, chewy, over priced snack. I took pictures to show that there was an abundance of crumbs in the bag that made it more expensive than any popcorn I have ever bought. But I wasn't able to upload them. I should have given it a second thought for the price but popcorn is my favorite snack. I read the reviews and was craving cheese flavored popcorn. Poor choice. The only difference is it doesn't have the medicine after taste like another highly touted brand. Try your local store brand before you spend more than what this is worth

Pretty good
The cheddar popcorn is good. Not to salty or buttery. Not stale but could have been fresher. I enjoy it and paired it with Mike's Carmel corn. Very good. I'm going to definitely order more for our family vacation next month to myrtle beach. A great snack for the whole family. As far as price it coulb be half the price. I use to buy Jenny's popcorn at Walmart for $2.50. A huge bulk bag but not fresh because of the twist tie.

This is the very best cheesy popcorn I have ever tasted!
The cheese on this popcorn isn't just a dusting, but seems to penetrate with a burst of flavor. It is delicious!!! The only thing I don't like is the price. But, what hasn't gone up a lot in price lately?
