We bought these to keep our small children from opening the front door and they proved to be very effective. Even if he pushed the chair over and tried to wiggle it he couldn’t. Sometimes my husband even had a little trouble!

This is the perfect security lock. I was able to install it in less than 5 minutes and it keeps my kids from opening the front door. I also attempted to push the door from the outside to test it for intruders and it held up after I leaned my shoulder into it. I strongly recommend for anyone with toddlers who like to open doors.

We bought this lock to put on the basement door on the inside of the house, so that little ones could not unlock the basement door and fall down. It also is a little extra security from someone coming into the house trying to come inside thru the basement. When you install higher than the regular door lock, high enough where a little one can't reach, its perfect

These are advertised as a 2-pack. They are not. Only one per package. I guess I will have to go through the trouble of returning, because if I wanted a 1-pack I could have ordered that for half the price.
