Stealth Cam 12V Battery Box

I thought this would work with any game camera. I used adapters to make the power cable fit into not one, but two covert cams. Fried them instantly. Now I have to spend a ton of money to replace those cameras. I do not blame anyone for this mistake but myself. However, if you read this, maybe it will keep you from suffering g the same loss. I guess I will buy a stealth cam. Or two. I really liked my covert cams. Being able to see the pics right there was pretty dang convenient. Maybe stealth cam has one like that.Anyway, be careful what you plug it into.

I bought this battery not for a deer feeder, I bought it because of the battery and the box. It comes in a neat little carrying case that is water proof.The battery is a perfect size for what I use it for. I am using it for low power amateur radio transmissions. The battery comes with an external charger.The wire connection to the box is a little difficult to get to plug in, you have to really push it in or work with it, but it's not a deal breaker. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I purchased two and they are great. I use my cam's on video with a 32g card. The battery lasted 3 weeks before I brought it in to charge. It was not discharged and was still working. I wasted lots of cash on batteries before I purchased these. I have had them over 5 weeks now and they are great. The battery cases are sealed well and keep out the rain. I have my cam's mounted on T-posts and my battery boxes set on the ground next to the post. Easy to use, plugs into the bottom of the camera and works great.

I use this to power my Garmin 301c fishfinder on my Kayak. Works like a charm. It lasts all day.

I hung some of those adhesive-backed LED strip lights in my portable ice house and I use this unit to power them. This thing is fantastic. Comes with a 8ah battery (same physical dimensions as a Vexilar battery), power cable with 2.1mm connector, and a 110v charger. It even has a quick-attach port for the charger to plug in.The case is VERY compact so it doesn't take up much space in my ice shack and it's very ruggedly built. So far it has handled the abuse of bouncing around in a wet, sub-zero ice house being bounced across a frozen lake.

Seems to be a nice little box to protect the battery from the elements. The actual battery inside does come out making replacement nice. However the included battery seems to be rather poor, so you may want to get something better down the road.

Not worth the money. Mine came today and the AC charger connector does not fit the socket on the battery, It is impossible to get a good fit and you need a pair of long nosed pliers to pull it back out if you managed to get in far enough to get connection. I tried to return it and Amazon won't process the return or connect me with the seller to facilitate a return to them.

Absolute junk. I have 4 of them. They do not come with automatic chargers. They are simply cheap power supplies and they fry the batteries. All 4 only lasted about a month.

Working as expected so far. A good way to keep the trail cam going all summer long. More to follow when the cold temperature arrives, that's when we'll know if it's a so-so or very good purchase.

Fits the SpyPoint awesome. Three months and still full battery percentage. Saves from buying lithium batteries

Great product and battery last for a long time but very hard to plug in to charge.

I was happy to see it came with a charging cable - description should be updated. The box seems pretty rugged.
