As long as you don't require a large ice reserve, this is great. It works just like it's supposed to. Fill the tray with water, let it freeze, flip it over, and push out the ice cubes into the bin below. It doesn't have a huge capacity, as the entire unit is fairly small, but that's good and bad. It's good because it doesn't take up a lot of freezer space, but bad if you require a lot of ice, and this just doesn't have a capacity for a large amount. Generally, it should do just fine for you, if you don't require lots of ice. Because it works exactly like it's supposed to, I would definitely recommend it, and give it five stars.

We s like many things about living in an old Carriage House b….the “old school” freezer sans ice-maker is not one of them.This looked to be an interesting potential solution.1. It is essentially a manual ice maker that is perfect for small freezers.2. I tried filling the trays with water from my filtered pitcher while they were in the device but when my fiancé went to see how it worked we learned that any water that you drip down the sides goes to the bottom and freezes to the drawer - so best to fill them then put them in.3. I also apparently overfilled the ice tray which made the cubes stick to each other a bit and not all of them popped out with the button.These lessons learned (ie let my fiancé fill it when I have broken toes and cannot balance) both of us think it is a good choice and are happy to be relegating our ice tray to the recycling bin.

I'm not sure if all the functions of this are entirely necessary, and it certainly makes it take up more space. You have to do various shifting and flipping of parts to even use the "button" that pushes the ice out, so it takes just as much time if not longer to just flex the trays yourself. But the ice bucket part is convenient, and the ice cubes it makes are a convenient small size for if you only want a little ice or to add to a portable blender.

Cute and functional. Holds enough ice for one or two people. Easy to use.

This is a great device that I didn't know that I needed. It fits perfectly in my freezer to dispense ice cubes for my cocktails and iced coffee. The device itself is so neat looking and functional so that I can dispense, obtain, and keep my ice free of germs. It is so nice to have and is great when you are making a fresh beverage at home during the summer.

Surprisingly a pretty cool gadget. Turning the ice trays over and using the built-in tool in the lid to release the cubes saves cold hands. The cubes themselves aren't that big, but perfect for cocktails. The drawer and tong combo keeps grimy hands out of the ice as well.

It fit right in the space where I had a previous ice container. I just put it in today and filled both trays with water. The container is a compact size and will take little space in a freezer. I will try to pop the ice out tomorrow and see if it worls as described.

this ice holder is the perfect size to save space. I like that it comes with a handle to carry it to different locations. It also comes with a scoop. Very cute and petitite.
