After the Saltwater Conversion...This Was Needed
So far, I really like it. Make certain you carefully measure from your deck to the water's height, and compare to the specifications of the ladder...that first step might require you to get your knee about chin high...

heavy duty
If you are replacing metal a one, you do not need to attach this to the ground wire which is nice. Digging out the old anchors from concrete is very difficult.

Upgrade from silver
I was worried when I saw the condition of the box. It was even opened. The driver said, that's how it came to him. It took my about an hour to put it together but it's in and looks fantastic. Definitely, an upgrade from what I had. I am hoping I will not see any rust since it's made for salt water pools.

Warning!!! NOT metal
This ladder is falsely advertised as being coated metal. However, the very first day of using it during our second season, the ladder broke. Looking at the cross section of the broken part, there is NO metal in the ladder - it is made only of what appears to be PVC. I contacted the manufacturer, who stated that they do not deal directly with customers and recommended I contact the seller, as there was a 5-year warranty on the ladder. I contacted the seller (Spreetail), who stated that the ladder was outside the 30-day return window. When advised of the 5-year warranty, they advised I would have to ship the item back to them. So let me understand this - I have to pay to ship an oversized, defective, falsely advertised item back to them to have any hope of resolution?? Which means the ladder that cost me $400 initially can cost me an additional $200?? So $600 into this, and how do I know I’m not going to get another PVC ladder that will break in another year so I can go through the hassle again?? No thanks, I’ll count my losses and move on. Best to avoid in the first place!

Great purchase for the pool
We had our in ground pool resurfaced in early 2024. The existing ladder consisted of a hand rail concreted in to the deck and 3 small concrete ledges built in to the side of the pool. I wanted to eliminate that so I purchased this ladder instead. The installation is pretty straight forward. Cutting in to the existing concrete deck and precisely setting the flush mount brackets in the new concrete would be the most time difficult, dusty, messy and time consuming part of this project. Once installed, the ladder looks fantastic despite the fact that I am a DIY'er and not a contractor. The ladder has been installed and used for the 2024 summer season. At 6'4 / 240lbs, I feel the ladder has too much flex for me to use, comfortably, so I stick to the main stairs in the shallow end. It works just fine for most other family and friends that have used it. The grandson uses it all the time, so it is definitely worth it for me.

Really like
Easy To assemble and it fit my existing inground cups. The width dimensions are misleading. My existing ladder had rusted so bought those as a replacement. So far so good.

Beautiful Ladders - well made and great for salt water pool
These ladders are much heavier and sturdier than the steel ladders we replaced. They were simple to put together, just a few bolts for the steps and pool installation was a breeze. They fit perfectly and look 10 times better than the ones we replaced which were rusting out.Have only had them in the pool for a few months now with no signs of rust or wear. Hopefully they will hold up for many years. Although the ladders are expensive, at this point we definitely feel they were worth the money. If they start to show any rust or other wear I will update the review.
