I don't know I have a Galah cockatoo. They are about the size or a little smaller than a regular marble or a dime. My bird loves them. She is so spoiled that she almost refuses anything else.

Is this a good food for a quaker parakeet also?

I think its fine for a quaker. I create a mix for my Jenday with this. I use about a quarter of a table spoon bc I don't want this to be his main food. I mix with his main food Harrisons High Potency Fine and other foods to keep it interesting for him.
