Just the Color I needed
I do a lot of needlework as a weight loss technique, believe it or not. Needlework requires clean hands, plus if they’re busy, they’re less likely to shovel food in the old mouth.I had the brilliant idea of making a rainbow colored granny square jacket out of bedspread weight cotton thread, knowing it would take months to complete, and I was right. I found a great deal on clearance colored DMC at a local hobby chain, but something was missing. Yep, a bright orange to balance the colors. This color was just the ticket, and came within a day or two of ordering.I’m so pleased oddities such as this are easily available online with quick delivery. Us thread crocheters, we are a bit of a dying breed!

Good quality
Anyone who has used this string before knows it’s quality and value. It is thin and sturdy. There is a lot on the spool.

A lovely, vivid, color-fast Pumpkin Orange
This is the most beautiful color orange, very much a pumpkin color. It is the typical quality one expects from Aunt Lydia's Size 10 cotton thread; it will have one to three join knots per spool. I just work around it or cut just before it while winding it into a ball. It washes up nicely with only about 10-15% shrinkage, as is typical of this brand. But the color holds true after washing. And the color is magnificent. So if you are in the market for lovely, vivid, color-fast pumpkin orange....This is the thread to buy!

Perfect color!
I use #10 crochet cotton to hand stitch my quilts. This color was true to the photo and matches perfectly for what I needed.

Good product, but better price available at brick-and-mortar
This is up to Aunt Lydia's usual level of good quality, but if you're willing to hit the local Michael's or Jo-Ann, you can get it for close to half this price. I ordered it thinking I would have trouble finding the color, but I've seen it twice for around $3.79 and I paid well over $6 for this.

Using for hand quilting
I absolutely love using this crochet thread for Tieing quilts and hand-sewing them with a sashiko needle. I was so thrilled, I bought two more colors!
