Well Hand Water Pump : Hand water Bison pumps for well, Stainless Steel Shallow Well Utility Water Hand Pump Model 700

I looked at numerous shallow well pumps from different manufacturers and suppliers ranging from $30 - thousands. This pump was on the expensive side but well worth every dollar. I am not impressed much by products having worked in the machining industry for years and use to tight tolerances, but the quality of this pump is impressive. There is no priming of the pump and is a totally enclosed system which was required by the local health department. It works great on our sand point well providing endless supply (or as fast as you can pump) of fresh water. I would highly recommend purchasing this pump.

The pump is very well constructed and easy to install; I had been looking at several manufacturers' hand pumps to integrate into my well water system as an emergency backup and am very glad I went with the Bison. The mechanism cycles smoothly and delivers good pressure, and this was the only pump I found that is designed for use as a pressure pump (can be used to press up the well pressure tank). Very happy with my purchase, would recommend.

I have this installed in my basement as a backup water supply in case we lose power. The water level in my well is about 15ft deep and the well is about 250 feet from my house and it pumps water great. I can also hook it in to my pressure tank and pump water into the rest of my house. The pump is all stainless, looks great, and works great.
