Feather Brand Men Feather Double Edge Razor Popular With 2 Feather Blades- Made In Japan

I have been shaving with safety razors since last 5 years with bombay shaving razor. I wanted one with butterfly opening and this is right in the money. Must buy if you want a masterpiece, I have tried Gillette 7 o'clock super platinum, feather blade, wilkinson and the regular 7o'clock on this razor. I dont recommend this for beginners as this is mild to aggressive razor.

The Razer head is fabricated in solid stainless steel that holds the blade well without any play. However, the razer stem is light plastic. For the price, a solid metal one would have been fabulous.

Heard a lot about Feather razors. So decided to try one for my shift from disposable razors, which were getting too big in number to dispose off. A blade box will do the job for double edge razors. Coming to the razor, after a couple of shaves i find it more comfortable than a disposable razor as i shave against the grain. Be sure to let the razor glide without much force.I now shave every alternative day comfortably without any irritation earlier it was three days and that to with lots of skin irritation. Currently using Gillete 7 O clock blades which cost around 60 for 7 a pack. Wilkinson's blade at Rs 25 for a 10 a pack was also okay. So i have permanently disposed of my disposable razors. Bought this for Rs 999.Best thing to do with anything you want to buy is to put the item in your watchlist and wait for the price to fall. You will get a price drop at the most unexpected times and most of the time it wont be in a much hyped shopping sale where the products are usually sold at much higher prices than they are normally sold.Update after 4 monthsPerformance of different blades with this razor.I now shave daily and I shave against the grain. It easily gives me more than 3 shaves and that too super smooth and irritation free. Easily the best. But hard to find locally and cost a hell of a lot more than other blades.

The media could not be loaded. Great quality razor, materials feel premium despite the plastic body, does have some weight to it. Nice to hold. Shave is on the milder side, great for beginners imo. I’ve just been shaving with DE razors for over 2 months and prefer it over cartridge razors. Nice upgrade from the Gillette 7o clock pristine 3 piece. The butterfly mechanism is a lot easier to work with.

Good mild razor. Gives you a smooth shave. Using it with 7 o'clock blades. Will use the feather blades after few days. Don't get fooled by the plastic body. Its good quality plastic. And weight is very appropriate. Next purchase will be a little aggressive razor....mostly EJ.

This is an excellent razor, especially for beginners. As someone new to razor shaving, I found it incredibly easy to use and beginner-friendly. I would definitely recommend it to those just starting out.

This is my third Feather Popular Razor purchased from AMAZON the first one I lost in Delhi second one has gone quite old around three years, but both the first one and second one came in a nice sealed Plastic box and built quality was better than this one, this came in a simple cardboard box looks similar to the others but the built quality is on the down side, how ever received it today only so can't comment on the shaving quality but the cardboard box was not sealed as in the case of previous ones.

This is my first safety razor. So far I was using many many variants of Gillette and now I'm regretting spending so much money on those products. I've never got any better close shave in Gillette compared to this.This comes with 5 blades too. Any normal blade would work. That way it's huge saving.I've tried some local made safety razor. That was too aggressive and I had to use it with utmost care. This isn't aggressive. At the same time this give pretty closest possible shave. Need not worry about cuts. I've been using for past 3 months and I've not had any cut.I've not tried super costly models. This was within my budget and I can say this is the best safety razor in this range.
