Soundmagic PL30 + C in-Ear Earphones (Black and Gold)

I bought this headphone 3 years before and am still using this. Clarity is so good in this headset but need to improve its bass. Perfectly fits in ear if you use the ear holder. The L type connector is a added advantage. The main drawback of this headset is its build quality, the wire is tearing on the edges after use, so the build quality should be rugged. Apart from this its too good. You will not get headache or ear pain even after many hours of use. So overall its good.

I bought these for under 1000 during a sale. They broke under a year of use, so keep that in mind during the rest of the review.The sound quality in these earbuds is quite good for the price. There is wider sound stage than many cheaper options (under 1k w/ mic). The package comes with a case (a generic case used across chinese earphones in this price range). There are a lot of attachments provided besides ear tips, which is a nice touch. The mic is one of the better ones I have seen so far for under 1500.While these appear very well for a budget buyer, but consider that you cannot last these for very long, despite the metallic connector. If you just care about lasting earphones for a year in a budget, go for cx180 or other options, if mic is not required. If having a mic is a must, try getting these when the price is 1k or under.

I already had Soundmagic E10C which I bought 2 years back. I had no plans to buy another wired earphones BUT saw these PL30+C at a discounted price of rs. 750 only and couldn't resist, ended up buying 1.It is even better in design, ergonomically designed for ear lobes, light weight and stays in place.I didn't ever need the plastic ear hooks, I just insert these earphones PROPERLY just like we insert a foam ear plug by pulling the ear lobes upwards. Once fixed, it doesn't fall off irrespective of what I do.Don't listen to negative reviews, those are written by guys who think a DJ is a real musician! Their music choice consists of basic club beats and boomy bass like skrillex etc. Obviously they are dissatisfied by an audiophile grade earphones because it doesn't confirm to their cheap choices.Its sound signature is almost flat, with slightly suppressed high frequency. The mid vocals sound even more livelier, natural compared to E10C. Forget comparing it with cheap earphones like Boat etc, they can never ever produce such high quality sound signature.Don't use such audiophile grade earphones to listen to basic drum beat songs like electronic, rap etc and don't use it with a mobile phone, also use HIGH-RES FORMAT SONGS like FLAC, WAV OR ALAC.At least use a laptop, they have got better audio card than mobile phones.

The sound is very good and has good enough bass. These can function as noise cancelling earbuds in some circumstances, but they are not they are not true noise cancelling. Also, the wire is very flimsy and thin and doesn't seem very durable. The eartips provided are just okay and sometimes do fall off while walking. Although this is a ear hook style, they don't stay in place over the ear and wearing it is quite a task.This comes with a case and earhook attachments, which are very rigid to wear especially for small to medium size ears. It also comes with a carrying case which is of decent built quality and hold the earbuds in place. Probably the one good thing in these headphones.The review cannot be complete without mentioning the impeccable packaging and delivery from Amazon.So, 1 star for the bass and sound, 1 for the carrying case and 1 for Amazon. 3 stars for this product.I would not recommend buying this product

It's an OK product. I bought this on August 2017 and used it heavily till last month. But couple of weeks ago, the wire broke off. ( Initially there was a bulging near the 3.5mm audio jack and then the insulation came off). So if you are buying this, use it carefully as the cable could break.

Over the years I've tried a couple of other in-ear headphones with mixed success. All my other earbud/in-ear 'phones have to be set firmly in the ear to get decent sound quality and noise isolation, most need at least slightly EQ adjustments to sound "right" (some too tinny, some too bassy, some not enough in both regards, etc), some brands have cables that cause in-ear noise from clothing - etc. The PL30+C are the first in-ear 'phones I've owned that have been virtually perfect for every one of those complaints.They're the most comfortable I've owned, too. When I first wore them, the sound quality was outstanding. They do look a bit weird though, with a non conventional twisted construction of the earphones, but thy fit very well and feel tremendously comfortable in the ears.Audio quality is really super too - as should be expected. I've felt no compelling need to rush into making EQ curves to force decent sound of these headsets. They aren't very bassy(slightly though), not tinny, and not dull. They just sound "right" and natural to me(for the note I prefer a bit bassy music which doesn't compromise on quality in any ways). The mic works well enough during calls, so no complaints there. There are volume controls as well near the mic(see images). Though that has become the standard these days, thought I'd still mention.The company also provides a hardcase, 5 sets of earbuds and a pair of hooks to use with these earphones while running and doing other physical activitiesAll in all I'm very satisfied with the PL30+C so far.Hope this helped.

The product is good in terms of sound quality but not that great. Material quality could be better.Overall it's a average product.

This is definitely one of the finest earphones for the price. I bought it for 899 and I am very happy with it.Good quality wires, with crystal clear sound, and soft ear tips.You can use them for a very long time without any discomfort.However, the support accessory which goes around your ear are not very practical or handy and I chose not to use them.

Had a pair of these for years, finally got a bit grubby from many miles of jogging. Decided to get normal in ear pair, big mistake. Then Bought cheap over ear headphones, couldn't even wear they were so n uncomfortable.Finally bought a new pair of these and am so happy. Wish I'd just bought a new one straight away. Really comfortable, really sturdy for jogging, great sound quality. Sightly better quality materials than my old pair, no complaints at all.

Decent quality. Sound is excellent, these easily beat my £80 RHA earphones - much better bass response, clearer highs and pleasing mids. The ear hooks are comfortable. I bought these for work and normal earbuds always fall out, so these are perfect.Reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because I'm a little bit wary of the build quality. They don't feel very robust but for £25 if they last a year wish, I'll be pleased enough.Recommended. Now intrigued to look into other SoundMAGIC products as well based on how good these are.

These are good value for the money. Sound quality is good. I find them a bit fiddly to get in my ears though, and they don't always stay in place, so that's why I've knocked them down a star.

Works! Have bought so many other earphones where the remote doesn't work, so very happy. Sound magic is a great brand.

Amazing sound quality, honestly worth the money and sounded way better than my beats earphones (and have lasted longer too)
