Has potential to be great
This doorbell has a ton of potential if the right developers were behind it. The picture quality was amazing way better than the ring 1! I could see individual leaves on the tree while with ring everything was blurry. What made me return this doorbell are these reasons:The sd card/cloud-dont know what separated the two because videos were said to be in the cloud but used up sd storage but it worked fine for a week then stopped recording anything. There is a slide style bar that's black and has orange lines where motion was detected you can slide back to see what was going on but you would have to watch the entire section. I was going to settle for that until that went haywire and started skipping back to the beginning of the day while I was trying to watch something that happened at night. I also hate that it only records for 8 secs. If someone is walking up to your door it will capture them walking a few steps and that's it. Another thing is it is super big and thick. I have a s7 edge and it's the same height. Live view was great and would usually open pretty quickly to answer a motion so if you dont mind the motions that much and want to just live view or answer when someone rings the bell I would get this just for the picture clarity alone! I really hated to return this but after emailing the support I didn't get a response until a week and a half later which it was already too late and their response was to update the app and download the latest firmware which of course I did that before I emailed so that made me glad I got rid of it

Great WiFi doorbell/camera
The media could not be loaded. This has been a great addition to my house. Since we moved our doorbell never worked. I tried wireless doorbells but they couldn’t withstand the weather and died! Plus no battery indicator to help me figure out when to change them.I got this after discarding more expensive Ring models and competitors plus the 960 HD capability, rechargeable 18650 batteries (which I already have and use for other things) and weather proof features!First it was easy to install. Doesn’t require existing wires or power. Hooks up to your WiFi network through the App. Records video right out of the box, literally. When you pop in the batteries it records the installation process, ha ha ha! Sharing the device with other in the home is easy with a QR code and the App on their devices.I’ve had this camera for about two months. That’s about how long fully charged batteries will last with the motion detection sensitivity to low and not much transit. Luckily there’s a battery indicator on the App and it will also alert you when batteries need replacing. This thing has endured several big storms and it has only activated the motion sensor not reduced visibility or function. The cameras dynamic set up goes from standard to night vision automatically. Video is good but sometimes jitters depending on your WiFi range in relation to the doorbell. You can take a snapshot from the live video feed if you choose. Both video and photos will be stored either on your device or the SD card in the product. There is a plug in doorbell receiver you can connect to hear the doorbell in your second floor or big house BUT I haven’t been able to make it work since it’s very sensitive to metal interference or thick walls and my doorbell is installed next to a metal gate. The App is sometimes intuitive to use and sometimes not. I have figured out most of the features except the Cloud and SD Card recording and how to switch properly. It comes with no manual so you have to figure it out for yourself. You can catch the mailman and UPS guy, chat with people with very little lag and good sound quality. All in all a very solid product! Wish I could attach a buzzer to let people in through the gate now. Ha ha ha!

Updated review, customer service has been great and issues have been addressed, works well for the low cost
***Update***I sent my device back due to problems discussed below. Since then, I have been in contact with customer support, and they have been very good. They sent another doorbell to try, and agreed to work the issues. The issues were with the doorbell and app. They had tech support work the issues and the doorbell is working well. There are still some issues, after a certain time in the afternoon, the live view shows tomorrows date so you have to scroll back over 24hours to see an event from today, and the cloud storage is not working 100% yet. However, for the low cost and great effort they have had in customer support, I am changing my review to 4 stars. For the money, I would buy this over Ring. It has free cloud storage, no monthly fee, and installs easily. I wired mine to my 18VAC doorbell and it keeps the batteries charged. Video quality is good, even in low light. The motion activation can be set so high that I can see the garbage truck pick up my trash, or low so only people near the door set an alert. The motion detection is a bit laggy, I wish it was less than 2 seconds, but is seems to be 5 to 7 seconds to activate.***Old Review***Like another reviewer, I was able to get the device to connect to my network, and see live footage from the device. However, It would not record to the SD card or the cloud. If the doorbell was pushed or if the motion detection gave a notice or call, only live view could be seen, nothing recorded so the device was useless. You get what you pay for, not much.
