Hole punch works well
Works well in putting holes in copper or other thin metal pieces to make jewelry.

Works beautifully
I’m able to create perfect holes in 20 gauge copper discs before applying glass enamel. The pieces will be assembled into earrings and pendants. This tool is very helpful and quick!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY....
I purchased this item in January, 2015. Up until yesterday, I would have rated it Five Stars, but yesterday the smaller pin (1.5mm) broke off inside the component, necessitating the purchase of an entirely new punch. (If the pin had broken off and not become lodged, I could have saved $3 and just ordered a replacement pin.)One might think, well, she got 2+ years of use out of this item, what is she complaining about? My (admittedly fairly mild) frustration lies in the fact that I NEVER have used this on anything heavier than 24 gauge - as instructed on the packaging - and I use it minimally. Seriously, like maybe a handful of times every month. Regardless of the fact that this is over two years old and I paid less than $15 for it, I still feel like it should be durable enough to withstand the use I put it through. It is not a "disposable" piece of equipment. Or at least I didn't think it was.At any rate, it's handy to have and I will order it again. There is no way I could have taken better care of it, so I will just plan on buying a new one every couple of years. It's just a little frustrating....UPDATE: I am now four months post-purchase and three months post-return date. Unfortunately, this has broken (AGAIN!) I have not unnecessarily strained or overworked it - I use it up to once or twice per week on about half a dozen projects at a time. (NEVER use it on anything other than sterling & 14K GF or more than 26 gauge sheet. I would consider this light use.) Don't waste your money.... Both times it has snapped off at the top area of the screw, leaving the punch trapped inside the tool.

I used this today and to my amazement, it worked!
I used this on several different coins. Dimes, quarters, nickels, penny’s and it went through without any problems. I’m hoping that it doesn’t break down after many uses. I’ve used it quite regularly, over this month and it’s still going strong. I love that it makes buttons out of any coin you put in there. I also bought a thing (can’t remember the name) that if you put your coin in it and hammer it, it makes it concave. Makes cute buttons every time. Loving it. If it breaks, I’ll buy another one.

Works OK but not durable
This is a somewhat lightweight hole punch for metal and jewelry. I've used it on various thicknesses and on thinner pieces, it makes the metal bunch up a little around where the punch presses down. It is sufficient for my small projects, but I would buy something sturdier for professional-level punching.

Is exactly as described and works good
Nothing bad to say, product is as described and works just fine. I use a small awl to mark where I want my hole to go and then use one of the sides to make it. Works best on softer metals like silver 925, copper, or aluminum.
