Works on my 2010 f150.
I have a 2010 f150 and had the trailer hitch and 7 pin+4pin connector from the factory. Because if this, it also had the harness with the unutilized plug for the factory brake controller behind the lower dash pannels. The seller provided all the paperwork necessary to install the unit and took maybe a half an hour. Then I was able to take it to my local Ford dealer to get them to flash my computer (turn on the brake controller) for $95. We have since picked up our new travel trailer and this thing works as expected. A must if towing anything with trailer brakes.

Fits great and works like it should
install was straight forward if you've got a basic understanding of how to work a 7mm socket. went in clean, plugged right into my truck and works perfectly now that the computer is flashed to see the module.

Yes, this is what you want if you already have the brake control wiring under your dash...
Perfect fit! My truck is a 2010 F-150 Lariat. It replaced the extra “pocket” on the left side of the radio console. The brake wiring was secured to another wire harness under the dash directly behind where the unit is installed. Just had to have the unit “turned on by the dealer” which cost me $100...could have done it at another dealer for $70 but I needed it the next day and they couldn’t get to it for a week. Takes a little disassembly of the dash and center console but overall an easy job for someone with relatively decent mechanical abilities. Highly recommend!

Fit 2010 platinum, dealership activated!
Okay, I'm an idiot... You have to take off the stock wiring harness adapter.Took to Ford Dealership and activated fine. I have yet to test. Will update/move to 5 stars if testing proves it works. The wiring harness in my 2010 F150 Platinum 4x4 with tow package *DID* direct fit the AL3Z-19H332-AA 1XKit module. Even though this looks very good and OEM from Ford etc.

Worked as expected. Plug and play, but you ...
Worked as expected. Plug and play, but you still need someone to follow the reflash or whatever you want to call it steps.

Good product
Module was good and read as a genuine ford. Installed easily. My truck has an updated instrument cluster do to a recall and it won't function with it so I did return it. Thus I can't speak for the functionality.

Pleased
At first we thought it was the wrong product, but realized we had to do something on our end to make it fit. Should be posted in the instructions.
