Voyo predicted my dead battery - if only I had listened!
I drive a 2011 Lexus RX450h. I love the car but it has over 140k miles on it and the check engine light goes on more often than I'd like, so I wanted to get a better understanding of any problems. I also have other people (nannies) driving the car on a regular basis and I liked the idea of being able to know more about their trips. I bought a Voyo since it was Amazon's Choice. The installation was easy and as soon as I plugged it in I got three codes, one of which was C1241 Low or High Power Supply Voltage. I didn’t have time to do anything about it since I was heading to Tahoe the next day and thought it would be ok since my car had been in for scheduled service relatively recently. As it turned out, the code indicated that my 12V battery was failing and sure enough, the car didn’t start the first morning after having been parked outside below freezing in Tahoe. I barely managed to jump it to charge the battery, and it needed to stay in a heated garage over the weekend in order to start again so I could make it home and take it to my dealer to get a new battery. Turns out the Lexus battery is hard to replace and AAA couldn’t send anyone to help. The local O’Reilly store strongly recommended taking it back to the dealer instead of trying to fixing it myself. It all worked out in the end, but it would obviously have been much better to have been warned of that code in time to do something about it before my ski trip. So after only 2 weeks since I've first plugged it in, I already see a lot of value that I'll be getting from this purchase. I haven't had the chance to review much of the data that is logged about the trips my nanny makes, but my early impression is that it will be very informative. I'll report back soon with any additional insights about that feature.

Product does not work as described. Does Not recognise Code Numbers
I purchased five of these at the same time and followed the instructions for installation. i was able to pair the device with my phone and installed the App. However, I kept getting an error message that The Code Numbers provided in the device could not connect the device to the Server.I sent a mail to VOYO Customer service, but I never got a reply. Shoddy Customer Service. Product does not work.

Really happy with this product!
This is the third VOYO one we have purchased for out family. We originally bought a VOYO for our Prius (more on teenage drivers later) and really liked it so we purchased one for our Highlander and another for the Mini Cooper. We have all of the features on the Highlander and the Prius, but are still waiting for diagnostics for the mini. Downloading the app and setting up the VOYO was easy and setting up the app to view all three cars was pretty easy too. We had a few questions for support but that was handled easy as well. We run a restaurant business and use all three cars a lot for work. It is super useful to know where the cars are at all times and also to know the exact millage put on the cars as we build our catering business. This product is also great for a family. Our 17 year old just started driving and we told him that we would feel better about letting him use the car if we could keep an eye on his driving. He probably realized that it would be hard for us not to let him use the car if he could actually prove he's a responsible driver. That said, I didn't really know what traction control was before he started driving with VOYO!

Seems to work fine
I have two of these, one in a Mazda Tribute and one in a Lexus RX hybrid. They both seem to work fine except I might be making some user mistakes with the program. I say this because when I use the cell phone software it does not keep up with the entire movement of the car. It leaves out segments of the traveled route and almost always leaves the last leg of the route unrecorded. It even shows the car parked somewhere on the route rather than where it is physically. Also, I understand the system is supposed to work in the background if the app is active in my phone. This seems to be a hit and miss situation. It seems to miss a lot of details in this process. Secondly the add says that data not downloaded in the car will download when it connects to the app on the phone. I have only found this happening one time and I have had the system for about 6 months. There has been no evidence that it happens on a regular basis by reviewing the stored data on my app. Also the error codes really do not corollate with the actual error. I got three error codes on the Hybrid which indicated I have a low liquid level in the master brake reservoir: That something was incorrect in my battery but did not say whether it was the hybrid battery or the 12V system: And there was something going on with a Solenoid somewhere but nothing about which solenoid or which system of the car. My mechanic said all the error codes related to the anti skid brake system, which he checked out and found nothing wrong. The email feature works jus fine when there is an error code. It notified me of a "" overspeed occurrence when I passed a car in in each vehicle and it emailed me the error codes when the Hybrid got the three error codes. All this together makes me think it is user error rather than actual problems with the system.Anyway for me it is only worth 3 stars out of 5.

Check your Stats first!
So, keep in mind that the newer your car, the more you'll get out of this. (Narrator: her car wasn't newer.)Despite, the fact that my car isn't newer, there's still a good bit of data available. It installed easily and I found the data to be accurate.I would have loved using some of the better features, but that will wait until I upgrade my vehicle.Would definitely recommend checking the features available for your car prior to purchasing!

Easy to Use and extremely useful!
I’ve tried several OBD devices, and I’m really happy with VOYO. Took about two minutes to install and the setup includes a video that shows how to use the VOYO app. There are a LOT of features and you can contact Customer Support right within the app. I had a question about using VOYO on my different cars, and I got a response right away. Scan Pro showed a diagnostic code missed by my other OBD devices, and I was able to use this information to call around for repair estimates. VOYO saved me a couple of hundred dollars not to mention the hours of time I would have spent going to different shops for an estimate.
