Brightness on par with OE Epson.
Read the other reviews and this is on the same level of brightness if not brighter than the OE Epson bulb in our Home Cinema 5040UB Projector. Quality is on par with the original, the plastic is a lighter grey color but the functionality is all there and fitment is exact same and doesn't affect the picture quality in any negative way.

Lasted almost 3 years
Lasted almost 3 years (2 years, 10 months)! Over 5000 hours logged. Can't ask for better lamp performance.

Stick with oem
Colors were bad and the picture was as dim as the 4k hour bulb i replaced it with.got a epson bulb and it looks like a new projector again

Updated: Special screwdriver not included
According to Epson, the bulbs are supposed to come with a special screwdriver but there was no screwdriver included. After several attempts, Epson finally responded to us and said the screwdriver is a standard #2 Phillips screwdriver. The bulb is working as expected.

Better than OEM
I have an epson 4010 projector and this is best my projector has looked after two OEM bulbs. I returned my projector because of ghosting in 3d. They sent me a refurb that was better but still had some ghosting. After 1500 hours, the ghosting was back. I installed this new bulb and the ghosting is gone. Much brighter picture and colors pop more. I think ghosting in 3d is now my indicator that the bulb is dimming. I have only had a few days, so I dont know how long it will last yet.

Great, but it died, but they're sending a new one!
Bought this bulb, it fits correctly and is as bright as the day we got the projector.Unfortunately, after two months, it died. But Yosun was very responsive to the Seller Inquery and there's a new bulb on the way.If it dies again in two months, I'll probably lower the rating, but these things do happen sometimes, and Yosun made it right in a hurry.

The first replacement worked for 3300 hours
This isn't my first purchase of this specific lamp for my Epson 5040ub. The original Epson lamp lasted about 2000 hours. This one, the first time I bought it, lasted for 3300 hours in that projector, so... I bought another one. Very pleased with the value I've gotten from this replacement.
