Very beautiful dress, great quality fabric. Ive washed it 3 times in a month and it's held up very well, would def take the lace up string out before though. It does seem to run a smidge big, I'm normally a medium across the board but definitely could've sized down even after tightening. It's also a bit heavy, great for fall and winter imo. Would absolutely buy again if needed.

Loved this costume and was actually shocked by how well it fit. The material is soft and the dress was longer than I expected. Overall, loved this for Halloween! (Also, loved the hood!) - This was a medium

Does run smallish or true to size so i'd go a size up if you want to really use the strings in the back. I'm a large/medium and ordered a large fits perfect do not need to use the corset strings. very soft. i thought it was perfect and doesn't look feel cheap!

I got this item for the renaissance fair. Ordered it with plenty time before the event to be on safe side, make sure it fit etc. It came vacuum packaged and pretty quickly. I tried it on, was a good fit, the sleeves were a little tricky when you pip it on, but was fine. I let it hang for a few days to let the crinkles drop out from the packaging - I also hung it in the bathroom to steam gently as some creases were deep - so allow time for this. The tie back is just a ribbon and ribbon loops which isn’t super robust and is more for show - I had a friend thread and tie it on the day - you can’t keep it threaded but undone when you put it on because the ribbon just slips through the loops and you shouldn’t tie it off before putting it on as you risk ripping it or the loops which are flimsy. It’s also not possible to tie yourself because the ribbon doesn’t have a firm end to guide you blind though the little loops which are fiddly and the sleeves are too big to be able to do that behind your own back - they’ll get in the way. You also can’t slip it on front ways then twist it round one laced as the neckline having no stretch where the sleeves attach doesn’t allow for this. So be aware you do need a second person to be able to tie the back. I would have liked it to be a touch longer in the front, to cover my feet a little more but not a deal breaker. What was a disappointment was about half way through the day I noticed a run beginning to form in the gold ‘satin’ panel and then a little later spotted the stitching pulling too. I didn’t have the dress on tight, and I didn’t do anything strenuous or make contact with something that would have snagged it, so it was a shame that it had a fault so quickly. It wasn’t the most expensive outfit and not the most luxurious materials, but it seemed quality enough. It was just not amazingly made and only held up for half a days wear, and I won’t get another wear out of it. Which is a shame. That said, someone said I looked like Fiona from Shrek which I hand not even registered when buying it! I guess for some people that would be a fun costume idea but wasn’t quite the vibe I was going for - not a big deal though just a side note. It’s not the same as the picture advertised, the panel sits higher and is much narrower, I assume this product is a replica or modelled of off a different garment and the image is of what it is inspired from - so maybe a touch misleading. . I would say if you buy it, check it over and check the stitching and be prepared for it to be a one time wear or for it to grow tatty quickly. Otherwise not a bad buy for what it was intended for.

Very nice attractive , but a little bit tight

Good quality costume! Material isn’t too thin or flimsy and you can’t see through it. Fabric feels good and is comfortable to wear! Love the color. Fits great and is very flattering! Highly recommend.
