Ocean of Knowledge
An amazing well written book, must read. There are some challenges for beginners like you cannot find the definitions for some basic keywords in computing like clock, clock rate, different levels of cache(L1-L3) etc., and this is exactly what is needed. It will be a thrill for beginners and for the ones whose knowledge is rusted when they refer each keywords in the Internet they learn more than the book provides for every single page. Every computer shelf should see this book.If you do have some enough bucks to afford another book buy this one too: https://www.amazon.in/Programming-Ground-Up-Jonathan-Bartlett/dp/0975283847/ref=sr_1_6?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1529890327&sr=1-6&keywords=Programming+from+ground+upwhich provides a great deal of knowledge and will form your basics of assembly knowledge and working of computer processor and memory. (I am not affiliated with the author. I am just a customer who found this book useful)P.S Thank you Amazon for banning customers who are returning more products. I always buy my books from Amazon when ever the book is delivered to my hands it will have some external defects like torn off pages, old looking books, used books etc., this is happening when I receive a book which is returned by some customers, Some of the computer books can be read within a month if we have experience like the programming ones. So these customers will read the book and return back to amazon. And when I purchase I sometimes get an old book. But After banning those customers. I have received this book in a cover(not amazon packaging) which is brand new and I do not find external defects of the book. Good work amazon!.

This is the Bible of computer architecture.
I bought is book a couple of years ago after a recommendation by a professor. This book has genuinely enriched my knowledge in computer architecture. The best part of the book is the instruction, data, and thread level parallelism, as these are of fundamental importance in modern programming. Also, this book teaches its readers how to perform back of the envelop calculations involving bandwith and latency, benchmarking, power consumption, dependibility, including the favorite Amdahl's law, and cost of architecture itself.Apart from the content, it is a very well printed and binded book with good quality paper and print. It is a definite buy for anyone who wants to know how their most emotionally important gadgets like smartphones and tabs work under the hood.

A golden classic on computer architecture
CA-AQA is the Bible for students wishing to study the exciting field of Computer Architecture. The book is more suited for an advanced course study as the reader is assumed to have taken some beginner course in computer architecture and digital logic design. This edition focuses on cloud computing and warehouse-scale computers. It features a rich set of online and in-book appendices to supplement the material, several written by practitioners.

Awesome.....
Trustable Book. Might seem though to some but it's a good, detailed book when you are studying computer architecture for real.

"The Best book for Computer Architecture"
The must read and must have in your book collection. Computer Architecture : A Quantitative Approach by Hennessy and Patterson needs no introduction. Its the bible of sorts for all computer architecture students. Dont think twice to buy it.Regarding the price. I got it a great deal for Rs 396/- with a savings of 33% on this book. I bought it on the Great Indian Sale on 21 Jan 2016. The book was delivered by Amazon on 27 Jan 2016. Except for the one week time for delivery, everything was excellent.

Probably the best book for computer architecture..
Probably the best book for Computer architecture. (when compared with titles from Morris Mano, Carl Hamacher etc.. which are also very good)). Very very practical approach is followed by the book with wide range of solved and unsolved problems. This book consists of various excellent examples and figures(data, tables, charts etc.) from real-time environments

Review about the physical aspects.
Let's me start off by saying that the this is a very good book, it's the recommended by Princeton for their Computer Architecture course.Let's talk about the book itself, it's a used book, it has notes from the previous user, I don't have a problem with using a used book, but it's unethical to ask people to pay for a new book and provide a used book.NOT ACCEPTABLE!
