This bracket is sooooooooooo much better than the original Audi bracket that came with the vehicle. Audi should replace their OEM with this!It would lead to more satisfied customers!!!!

See the picture- OEM is on the right and aftermarket is on the left. Alignment of screws holding to the lift gate either places the license too high (into the camera) or too low.

It worked for what I needed, although there was a part missing!

I added a clear license plate cover and consequently the screws that came with the bracket were not quite long enough. I measured the screw and determined that it's a metric M5-0.8. In my case, I purchased some 12 mm length phillips pan head stainless M5-0.8 screws at the Big Orange Box Store and they were perfect to fit through my plate cover. I may switch to a similar screw size with a security head now that I know the size.

Everything was good until I went to put the license plate on. That's when I saw the provided screws are hilariously short and I could not put the plate on with the plastic dealership frame that was previously installed. I didn't have longer screws and had to install it this way (until I can get longer screws; if I do). Otherwise, it was an improvement from the Audi OEM plate holder, which was ridiculously engineered to fail.

It was very easy to install. Also, very sturdy. Well worth the money.
