Workability and Durability
This poaching pan is great! There's only my wife and I, so the two poaching cup pan was enough. This was my first time poaching eggs. I followed the instructions and the eggs turned out great! My wife kept telling me that she doesn't like poached eggs, but I made some hollenday sauce and put that over the egg and toast. She loved it!

Turn down the heat
Read several reviews before my purchase. The only bad reviews were, lid didn't fit properly, the cover handle got extremely hot, and the fill line was too high. On the one I received the lid fits perfectly, and the lid handle gets hot but not hot enough to burn you. The fill line seems to be perfect height and I had no problem with water getting into egg cups. Instructions stat you bring to a boil and then simmer eggs. Turn heat down to simmer once it boils. The condensation that forms on the lid rolls down to the edges of the pan so no problem there either. Once you get the cooking time down it makes perfect poached eggs.

This is not a nonstick product, but still works well
This item poached eggs perfectly once you get the timing down. The stainless steel lid gets hot so use a mitt while cooking. Also if we have to spray Pam in the cups so the eggs don’t stick, it’s not a nonstick product. Make sure you spray it though because your eggs will be destroyed and the cups will be so hard to clean if you don’t. Finally, make sure you dry it after using or it will start rusting.

best poacher I've used
Doctors says hey it turns out that maybe eating a real egg isn't the end of the world, might even be good for you, oops our bad sorry you had to eat fake eggs for 20 years. I still only eat a couple a week because they could be wrong again, so I want to go all the way to Flavor Town when I do.That means poached eggs, about 4 minutes, still soft inside but hot enough that I'm not afraid of deadly diseases and whatnot, over hash browns with sautéed onions. A little feta crumbled on there will surprise you, if you have any. Or a nice Benedict, what am I the recipe guy, eat them how you like.Pros - very easy to clean, very easy to use, only does two eggs at a time.Cons - only two eggs at a time, but you knew that because you read the description or looked at the picture

So Easy To Use
While I like Eggs Benedict, I've only tried to make them a couple of times over the years; the eggs never turned out right. This was so easy. I followed the instructions exactly. While I thought 2 minutes would give me the runnier yolk I prefer, I think I cooked them for 3 minutes while prepping the other ingredients. The eggs turned out perfect for my taste & it took almost no effort.

cloudy
LIKE: perfect size; great price; compact; does a great job on poached eggs.DISLIKED: at 2-years the glass lid fogged out. Very difficult to see the eggs poaching. Impossible for me to contact manufacturer to check on warranty..or get a replacement lid.
