BEAUTELICATE Womens Half Slip 100% Cotton Vintage Underskirt in 3 Lengths

I needed a half slip for my summer cotton/linen dresses that were a bit sheer. This was perfect. I did NOT want a polyester/acrylic/viscose/rayon/nylon/modal fabric slip bc they don’t breathe like natural fiber. These were washed & dried w no issue; ironining was not necessary. The sizing chart was accurate. What I love abt this slip is that it gave you choices on the lengths; for me, I bought the 20” in both black & white which falls at/above my knee (I’m 5’2”). Would def recommend and buy again!

I can finally buy cotton slips easily. I hate how hot and sticky nylon slips feel in the summer, yet that is exactly when gauze and other thin fabrics come out in skirts and dresses. I’m too old to just let everyone have a look at my underwear, so a slip is a necessity at times. Cotton fits the bill. It’s not likely to stick, and it breathes so air can circulate to keep you cooler. I bought several lengths. Now I can wear some of the beautiful flowing dresses that I’ve been wanting.

5'3" S size. Ordered small. It is bulky a bit. It has a bulky waistband to me to be worn under my skirts. Its waist was too tight and cause me to have a double belly when I tried it; hence what if it shrinks after a wash. I am a petite woman weight 119 lb. I do believe its rubber at waist sewed tight and doesn't give enough elasticity. The material is nice thick cotton and I ordered a black so am not sure about the white. I returned it because of the reason above. I got a white from other seller and am so glad its waist is thin and loose and fit perfect, which it is size S. Thus, I do think this product of Beautelicate has flaws and they should improve it. However, even though my comment is negative, you may want to try it yourself because you may have a tinier waist or your preferences are different from me regarding its being a bulky slip.

I did not think it possible, in this day to get any product of such fine quality! This slip is very well made. I really appreciate that the elastic waist does not have that annoying and painful lump where the ends are joined together. It has a smooth join without the lump!! In the hot summer, it is wonderful to have a cotton slip instead of the nylon which are so hot in the summer. I plan to order more in different sizes/lengths.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this plain cotton slip on Amazon (I thought I'd need to have someone sew one for me.) I'll be buying another one soon.I'm so happy to find a slip with no lace or embellishment, practical, and excellent quality! Yes, it does remind me of the kind of slips one could buy in the 70s, and I was only a child then. By the time I wanted such things, I couldn't find it! I'm so glad they make these in several lengths, as well, and I would like to request an additional shorter length of 22, for those of us under 5ft tall. I ordered the shortest length available, and do like wearing below-the-knee skirts, so this suits me just fine, but I can see that one just a bit shorter might be a nice item to have.

This arrived today and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I've already recommended it to my mom and a friend. It was so hard trying to find a simple slip without lace on the bottom! This is my first cotton slip and I'm looking forward to using it.I feel that the picture used is slightly deceptive though. I wear a lot of pencil skirts and was afraid that this was designed more for A-lines, but I think it's just that the model used is so thin that it appears to have a different shape. This slip is perfectly straight, just what I wanted!

Soft, comfortable and fits well. I keep cool wearing this under thinner cotton skirts and caftans. No need for a kick pleat as the bottom of the skirt is wide enough to move and stretch out your legs. The cotton is not sheer, gives good coverage.

This slip is the only half slip I can find in cotton. Sadly I am returning it because the elastic waistband is to tight which causes the fabric to bunch up. Making the the dress or skirt you put on Look like you have this weird stomach fluff at the waist. Not the look I'm going for! I purchased a different brand in a longer length that is made with a very thin elastic that is perfect, now if I can find the same in a shorter length. I may have to purchase another and have it hemmed to the length I want.

Looking at this slip, it looks like it would be very simple to make yourself....but...it saved me work. Seems well made and it works....

There was no choice of length on my order - therefore the slip just about covered my bottom. Really disappointed - unwearable. Waste of a lot of money.
