Bought to alkaline my water for better health.

I buy these filters because I need alkaline water. These filters do not disappoint. I periodically check the quality and it is always alkaline. I trust this brand to use in my pitcher and will not buy another. The price is amazing for a 3 pack so you are never without.

Have been buying these filters for the last 4 years. Tastes great, although I’ve never personally tested the PH.

I love the alkaline water filtration system. It fits in my refrigerator beautifully, the water tastes even better after it's been filtered by the system! I use it for all of our drinking water, and cooking. Not sure how long I have used this one pitcher, But I would guess to say is more than five or six years. It is still in great condition today. You will buy the cartridge filters replacing it every 3 months which is an extra expense. But it is well worth the investment. Alkaline water is great for your body and was my goal when I bought it.

After using this for a few months, I decided to get some PH strips and give it a real test. I compared against two reference points; my tap water and some bottled water called Essentia.Results:Tap water (Dallas area) : PH measured at 7Essentia (advertised as PH of 9.50): PH measured at 8.5one month old filter: PH measured at 7brand new filter: PH measured at 8.5So it does add alkalinity to the water as advertised, but I was disappointed to see how fast is wears out.Anyway, it does work, at least as well as expensive bottled water. I wouldn't expect the filter to be viable past about two weeks in the future. After a month it's no longer effective.

These filters are very expensive but the water tastes great and 1 filter gets you about 300 glasses of fresh water or 3-4 months. It would be nice if there was a way to keep track of that on the picture.The filter gets ruined if you let the water level drop. So I have to keep my pitcher near the sink, so for every glass poured, I have to pour a glass of tap water in. A bit of a pain.Also the design could be better. There is an inner cup which drains through the filter and into the pitcher. If you pour a glass of water before it all drains below, you will be pouring unfiltered wanted along with the filtered. It seems like a design flaw. They need to put a lip on the inner cup, so it doesn’t pour. (Think about kitchen gadgets like fat separators which have lips) I have worked around this by remembering to pour my glass of water first before refilling the inner pitcher.Also the lid design is odd. It is handy to be able to lift the hinged lid to pour more water into the filter compartment but the body of the lid isn’t secure and sometimes slips off when you are pouring a glass of water too quickly.I would definitely buy this again. I have found work arounds but it seems the design team should make a few modifications moving forward.

I needed replacement filters for my water pitcher. These fit as they should and provide proper filtration for my filter. I bought the pitcher and filter about 1.5 months ago. Water began to taste off. Bought new filters and its back to as it was when I first bought it. The package suggested about 6-8 wks before needing to be replaced and it appears to be spot on. I drink about 4 liters a day, about 47 gallons and the last couple of pitchers were off tasting. It does the job and provide good quality water.
