Great Product & AWESOME customer service!!
My furbaby was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and the first thing that raced through my mind was his diet since my other furbaby had Pancreatitous a few years back and we had to totally change his diet so as not to aggravate the pancreas, and I wondered if they made a food replacement for dogs since there are numerous options out there for people, but needed it to be made with dogs in mind. We found something at a local pet store, but the cans were very small, and the price was very high.I know I can find just about anything on Amazon, so I did a search, and PetAg DogSure was the first item listed, did my reading, and sure enough this was the product I was looking for. I order a few cans to see how it would go over with my baby, it didn't at first, but then it was a blessing in a can for him(my furbaby) and us!! This helped my baby the last few days greatly, but before we knew that our time was limited with him, I had ordered another case because I was on the last can and wanted to make sure we had plenty in our cupboard for him.. Sadly, our Max was losing his battle with cancer and passed away the following day. Once I had my composure, I noticed the empty can on the counter and remembered that I had a case of milk on the way, not wanting to "Stir the Pot" of emotions, I sent an email as quickly as possible, and fortunately, Nature's Horse was able to pull the product before shipment, they sent me a very nice and comforting email pretty much telling me that "They were able to stop the order from shipping, and they would refund me with no problem". I give them FIVE STARS on their Customer Service also. A good company to deal with, and the product does work. I highly recommend this product to anyone whose furbaby can no longer eat or digest solid foods. It also Helped my baby with bowel movements (gross as it sounds) which is a very difficult procedure when dealing with this kind of cancer.

Help in time of need
My beloved dog Jonah had stopped eating due to lymphoma. By giving him 20-30cc's of DogSure by feeding-syringe a few times a day it sparked him and he was able to start eating. It helped him maintain his weight, losing less than what he would have without it, and gave me something productive and helpful to do for him.

my dog would not eat it. he will drink ...
my dog would not eat it. he will drink milk with no problems. but this stuff is not at all to his liking. This is for an elderly 18 year old poodle. I think someone needs to do something about the flavoring.

Be wary if your dog has kidney problems
I purchased this when my dog was sick without knowing what his problem was - he is 15 and has always been a picky eater. I thought this might help. When I took him to the vet, I found out that his kidneys are failing. I actually discovered that before the item arrived and then started looking for the nutritional content of it. With kidney problems in pets, you really need to watch the phosphorus. This item contains large amounts of phosphorus and should not be used in a dog with kidney issues unless you are not able to get your dog to eat absolutely anything else. There are other similiar items on the market that don't contain large amounts of phosphorus so I would try those first. Someone in the reviews here wrote she gave her dog with kidney disease this - please don't do that. Another reviewer in another set of reviews on Amazon claimed that the phosphorus was low - that is not the case. I will never purchase another item like that that does not list nutritional content - not knowing that can kill your pet if you are giving it stuff it should avoid. It "might" be a good product for non-kidney issues, but stay away from it if your dog has kidney issues.

Dogs seem to LOVE the taste! No tummy upset for them makes it even better.
Good quality product. My dog LOVES the taste. I needed to give this two two of my dogs for some added nutrition and calories as well as some extra protein. They loved this liquid when nothing else would get their attention for food or drink. From what I read on the label, the ingredients seem to be quality and I like that its lactose-free and also has anti-oxidants and Omega 3s and 6s as well in the product. Its good that its easily digestible too. So many things can cause tummy upset in dogs - especially the aging ones and I can't say that this caused any digestive issues at all.The only thing that I can say that I feel is negative (nothing against the product itself however) is the price. At $4.00 for 11 ounce can of liquid this is pricey. It's good and my dogs seem to love the taste just fine - which makes me happy, but if PetAg could work on the price that would be great.

Dog did not like
My dog hated it. I was trying to get something into him when he wasn't eating for several weeks. He let me syringe feed other things, but not this.

Excellent product
My 10 y/o mini schnauzer has become anorexic. The vet is still trying to find out why. He will drink when coaxed. This seemed the best way for him to get nutrients. I have also been making chicken, sweet potato, brown rice, veggies baby food/soup for him. I can mix this in with the food. He likes the flavor and this can go into a non needle syringe to help your dog.It is expensive, but I cannot find this product anywhere else. And after receiving a damaged can, the company sent a replacement immediately. If you have an animal in recovery or with eating issues this definitely helps stimulate their drinking abilities and gives them nutrients and vitamins they may be lacking.

Staple for dogs with Kidney Disease
Anyone who is struggling to get their CKD (chronic kidney disease) dog to eat needs to have plenty of this product on hand. The most important thing is to keep them eating and getting nutrients. It's supposed to be palatable for dogs (and some of the other reviews indicate this), but mine won't eat or drink anything on her own on her bad days. But this highly nutritional product can be easily syringed down her throat, which is a blessing. This is just an addendum to my previous review: I recently lost my dog to CKD. But...toward the end of her life, about the only thing I could get her to eat and keep down (very important) was a doggie "French toast" that I made from mixing DogSure and a fresh egg, dipped some soft white bread, fried gently, and then cut into small pieces that I could then put down her throat if she wouldn't (and she didn't) eat willingly. It was the only "real" food she ate for days. Thank you, DogSure.

Never Arrived
Dog died waiting for this - literally. It never arrived. I have no idea what happened, but I never got a message saying why.
