There is nothing about these bowls I dislike. I needed a bowl specifically for a 5 course dinner party. I like to mix my settings and as my soup cup was a primitive looking cream and my plates were white I went looking for clear for an unexpected pop. What I wanted to avoid was a fragile fancy crystal look. These bowls are stunning. Just enough design in the base, not too thin or thick in the bowl shape. I also like to make my serving pieces multipurpose and these bowls in my opinion can serve fruit salad which is what I wanted them for, a salad, a dessert to candy/nuts. My table style is white based leaning towards farmhouse. These bowls can fit within any style and will be a lasting addition to you setting. On the fence? Get them now!

I bought these primarily for use as dessert, fruit, or ice cream bowls. The glass is sturdy, not fragile. The feet on the bowls add interest. They are dishwasher safe and stack to save space.Picture a 2 scoops of ice cream and hot fudge topping with whipped cream, hot fudge sundae, in these bowls. With a little maneuvering, the bowls could hold 3 scoops of ice cream and a really crowded bowl could hold 4 scoops. You could wedge ice cream and a brownie into these bowls as a treat for the kids or for yourself, along with other frozen or fruit treats.

I have been looking for these exact bowls as I needed a set to match a pair I have from decades ago! I love their understated sophistication in design-- simplistic, but elegant. With their clear glass bowl, they showcase the dessert inside, but then they're supported by a flair of design on their circular glass feet. The volume capacity, 9.25 ounces, is a perfect size! Not so large where it feels like a cereal bowl and not too small where it feels like a pyrex dish! The size allows for versatility in their use. Truly, I am so happy with finding this set!
