Truck Stop - Skateboard Mount for Bike Seat (Skate Rack)

This is definitely a convenience that I’m happy I came across. Lightweight, sturdy, and durable, the mount isn’t noticeable when I don’t have my board, but I have complete confidence in it when my board is attached.I was concerned because my bicycle frame is bigger than it should be for my height. I ride a 59 cm frame, and I am 5’10” so I have limited seat post exposed. Fortunately, because one hanger from a single truck affixes to the mount, the set-up requires minimal clearance between the seat and the mount. There was no assembly, and installing the mount was a simple. The design offers a simple solution to securing a skateboard to a bicycle without inhibiting the ride. I highly recommend this mount for anyone that travels via bicycle and enjoys skateboarding.

The idea is great, however, the design has a major flaw - it wont' work on a smaller bike because the skateboard hits the back tire. This means it wont work on most mountain bikes, certainly no bmx bikes, but will function on a large road bike. The primary market - I would assume is for young adults and it doesn't fit that style bike - so unfortunately having to return.
