LOVE this curling iron! And I put in lots of testing and research!
I've been using this curling iron for 6 months now and I love it! Let me tell you that I was very particular when choosing this iron. I compared it against leading brands (Lange) and those priced more closely to this one. On the left of my images you will see the Ouiast (this curling iron) and the Confu on the right compared against my very old and all time favorite the Conair (which finally failed). Before you read my long debated and tested research finds...let me tell you I'd pick this one all over again!PROS of the Ouiast:-FAST heating! I'll choose to curl my hair at the last minute before leaving the house and in about 30 seconds this iron is ready to go! I can't believe how fast it heats ALL the way UP!-My hair stayed curled longer after using this brand.-Goes all the way up to 430' This is impressive...I don't have to hold it on my hair as long as other irons.-Although it only has one button, it locks so you don't accidently turn it off. And I have never turned off my iron by mistake. Great featureCONS of Ouiast:-The barrel isn't as long as the Confu. However, it is longer than my old iron and it makes a difference on long hair.-My thin hair slips from this barrel more easily that the other two. BUT once I sprayed some hairspray on the barrel it hold my hair much better.-There is only one button-so you have to cycle through all the temps to select the one you want. This isn't as big of a deal as I thought it would be. I'm ok with this now.PROS of Confu:-Multiple buttons-Holds hair very well and doesn't let hair slip out of iron.-Longest barrel- holds lots of hair, lots of long hair!CONS of Confu:-Because it holds the hair so tightly, it flattens the hair and gives it a different type of curl. It's very pretty but it falls out of my hair more quickly.-Take A LOT longer to heat up.-360' or 400' Nothing in between

Wonderful iron at home in US and Europe.
This is possibly the best curling iron I have ever purchased. I bought it for an upcoming European trip and I have been so happy. It gets really hot and I never use it on the hottest setting. I tried it on 450F and it seems too hot for my hair and I have tough tough hair. I stay around the 350 F range. I took it to Paris and Belgium and it works like a champ. All you need is the little European adapter and plug it in. No converter required. It stayed on my same temp I had set at home and just converted it to Celsius. It has a digital read out that tells you your heat in big letters on the front and it locks so you cant change it accidentally. The only thing I noticed was a kind of funny plastic smell at first, but that went away, it seems stronger at higher heat settings. I also love the long barrel on this iron. It is great for longer thick hair. Great iron at any price. I want to buy a dozen!!! I am using it 24/7.

Would order again!
I have a blow dryer that is this style and I love it. I decided to order the curling iron version of it for the ease of use. I know a lot of reviewers say that it pulls their hair and everything, but it really won't if you use it correctly. When I first got the blow dryer I didn't use it for years because it did the same to me, but when I finally used it correctly it didn't pull a single hair out. This curling iron heats up quickly. It is nearly impossible to burn yourself with it, because of the bristles. The bristles seem sturdy, I've only used it a few times, so no worries about those breaking. It curls very well, and quickly. The curls hold up well too. The only complain I have is the button. I constantly press it as I am curling because of where it's placed. It's not really a big deal to me. If I notice that I pressed it, I just hit it two more times and it's back on my original setting. It's a VERY small downside, but I would definitely order it again, and recommend it.

Love this Curling Iron-Heat Quickly and Nice Results
I bought it because the travel hot rollers have too many in the box, and I only need about 5. This is light, heats up fast, curls nicely and quickly. I have fine, thin hair and I just don't care to spend a whole bunch of time on trying to make my hair do something it doesn't want to do. It's a nice soft roll curl and I'm done quickly. I would also perhaps purchase the 1 inch roller for tighter curls, but looking for for the wavy look these days. Money well spent!

Doesn't last long
This curling iron was delivered to me on Jan 28th, it is now Apr 2nd, after two months of normal daily use the spring broke this morning making it so this curling iron is no longer usable. The curling iron has been great up until now but I hardly consider spending $30 for two months worth of use as having gotten my money worth out of this deal. I wouldn't purchase this item again if this is how long the product lasts before breaking.

Works great
I've had very long hair my entire life and decided to cut it off this summer. As someone who has spent about 20 years with her hair in a bun, I found myself having to learn how to "girl" and curl hair. This wand was super easy. The lack of a clip made it much less likely that my hair would get caught in some hinge or crevice of the device, and the curls just slide off the end. (I use mini clips to pin them to my head if I want the curl to last longer.)The only complaint is that the glove is a little less heat resistant than I'd like, but on the plus side, when my fingers start to burn, I know that the curl is ready to come off. I've also started using the gloves when straightening my hair, as it makes it much less painful to touch the hot hair.

Worked well until spring on clamp broke
I love the length of this curling iron and the fact that it goes up to 430 degrees. Unfortunately, after six months of about twice weekly use, something happened with the clamp and it does not "spring back" toward the iron when I release my thumb. I can still use it to some extent, but it does not hold my hair firmly against the iron. I have fine hair so it just kind of slips through. Too bad, it was a good iron.
