Absolutely works, makes a difference in less than 12 hours!!!!
I usually don't bother with to many reviews but this product really deserves one. I have a Lab who gets hotspots and rashes. I was using Otomax but ran out and was worried nothing over the counter would work but I'm traveling and figured I'd give it a shot. My order arrived last night, I used it immediately and this morning there is a hugely noticable difference in healing. The rash is almost gone. It works better and faster than Otomax!! I absolutely recommend it. You won't be disappointed. The only caution I would say is to make sure you're familiar with the difference between hotspots and a staph infection. Staph can be nasty and definitely needs a vet.

My Dog Hates It... Which Means It Works PERFECTLY
Let me tell you—nothing says "I love you" like chasing your dog around the house with a tub of blue goo while they act like you're trying to perform amateur surgery. But once I finally got the Forticept Blue Butter on his hot spot? Instant relief. He stopped licking, scratching, and giving me the “why have you betrayed me” eyes.It smells clean, goes on smooth, and doesn’t stain fur (or at least not in a way that makes your dog look like a Smurf). Within a day or two, the redness was gone and he was back to rolling around in the yard like a drama-free diva.Bonus: it works on cats too, though good luck applying it without losing a limb.If your pet has skin issues and you enjoy mildly traumatizing them for their own good, this stuff is gold. 10/10 would butter the dog again.

Spot-On Healing
When my furry friend developed an unexpected hot spot, I felt like I was starring in a veterinary drama. Enter Forticept Blue Butter – the superhero ointment that saved the day! This topical treatment is like a soothing balm for my pet’s skin woes, providing rapid relief from itching, redness, and discomfort. The veterinary strength formula tackles everything from yeast infections to ringworm with impressive efficiency.I love how easy it is to apply, turning what could be a stressful grooming session into a quick and painless routine. The pleasant blue tint makes it less intimidating, and my pet doesn’t mind the application at all. Plus, the 4oz size is perfect for multiple uses, ensuring we’re always prepared for any unexpected skin issues. However, I did notice that the scent is quite mild, which is generally a plus, but a slightly stronger fragrance might help in identifying the treated areas more easily. Also, while it’s highly effective, a bit more coverage for larger hot spots would be ideal.Overall, Forticept Blue Butter is a must-have in any pet owner’s first aid kit. It’s effective, easy to use, and provides much-needed relief for our beloved animals. A solid 5-star rating for its healing power and user-friendly application, with a tiny star lost to its subtle scent.

Works extremely quickly!!
This stuff is the real deal! My shorkie had a scabby hot spot under his armpit and this stuff started to heal it after just 24hrs!! I don’t do reviews frequently, but I read them frequently! I hope this is helpful with someone’s decision to purchase this cream!!

Two applications in, will update
I purchased the bundle, the blue hotspot gel and hot spot spray. Since I just began treatment yesterday, the jury is still out. My dog began with what has been diagnosed as ringworm a couple of weeks ago. He has been taking an oral antifungal medication for a week now as well as receiving twice weekly baths with an approved antifungal shampoo. He's been getting routine spray downs with a cleanser twice daily. But the infection seems to be getting worse. I understand treatment can take weeks, but my patience is sometimes thin. I can't pet my boy or brush him without his skin rolling beneath my hands. He's not scratching often but we both are miserable. I purchased the bundle primarily for the gel, but I also needed a spray. First, the jar was filled to near the top, which was a nice surprise based on other reviews. But as I applied the gel to individual spots on my boy's skin this morning, the shivering of his skin calmed as I rubbed in the gel. I can only hope this meant he received some relief. He only allowed me to apply to one side of his back, and I don't want this to become a fighting issue, so I'll try the other side later. I'll update as we go and take before and after photos. I really hope this does provide him with some relief as well as help eliminate the ringworm. The smell is not bad at all, the blue color is not an issue, and it took only a small amount to rub in thoroughly at the areas I addressed. Hopefully a good value as it could become pricey depending on the time this may need. I'm looking for the rapid healing other have claimed.

It cured my dog's dry skin condition
I'm usually very skeptical about dog products with good reviews that are nearly guaranteed to succeed but this product surprised me. My dog suffers from a skin condition that causes dry, red, itchy skin mostly on her underside but her armpits are very bad. They're usually covered with very dry cracked and chafed skin with dry bumps that cause pain and constant itch. I've tried medicated powder and gels that failed to resolve the problem but this product worked after just 2 applications. The redeness has diminished greatly but her cracked skin as well as the raised dry and cracked bumps are gone. You have to watch your dog after it's applied because they will try to lick it off but after about 30 to 60 minutes it is absorbed.

Good product
Works well. We did notice an Improvement on our dogs redness. She had several issues going on simultaneously after she has several Furuncles pop up between her toes. She had to have surgery, and while we were cleaning and trying to get it to heal, it kept draining and was red even though she was on antibiotics. She had a staph infection going on simultaneously with yeast. Used several different products from vet, ending with a thin slick of this blue butter. It did help but as I said she had underlying issues with infections, so she is on antibiotics and yeast medication orally as well as the other cleaners and then this product. She tolerates it well, it doesn't sting.
