I bought two of these for my AG9 headsets since I have one for XB1X and PS4Pro Green and Blue lights respectfully. I love the head sets but at some point lost one of the mics and was using one of them for both but started getting static noise and sometimes would wiggle just a bit and come out and during fights and such I couldn't communicated with my party members. I saw these on here and gave em a try and I plugged them in without any effort and was able to communicate with parties and they didn't come out even with my excessively to try and wiggle them out and they didn't. If down the line these mics eventually get worn out from removing and such or get lost, I will hands down buy these again, Also the ability to move the mic closer or away from my face 11/10.

My original mic boom broke a few months back and i had to revert to using an old wired headset that isn't really the greatest. Finally after getting fed up with the terrible sound quality I decided to get a new mic boom for my Afterglow AG9 and boy am I happy. The delivery was fast, 2 days earlier than i expected, and it came in without any damages. It worked perfectly and I'm back to hearing people step and breath behind me in my games. Thanks for the replacement. Definitely buy if you need a new mic boom, or even if you don't like the AG9's original mic, this one is 10 times better!

I decided to go with this microphone replacement due to the factory mic going out on my Afterglow AG9+ headset. The very first microphone that came with the headset had broke a year or 2 ago and I ordered a replacement directly from Afterglow for the headset which worked flawlessly until just recently last week it had broke.So here I am searching for another replacement. I decided to find one in hopes of having alot better quality than the factory one because everyone who owns an Afterglow AG9+ knows that the original mic sucks alot.... Well I found this one which appeared to me as being a great replacement. It had great reviews, the product appeared to have a more sturdy and reliable construction. So BOOM! I ordered it. A few days later I received it. I thought "thank god I can speak to people again."As i plugged the mic in, it happened to be really snug within the port it plugs in. Yes im aware that it goes in one way. I then fired up a party chat on xbox and nothing. Not a single sound came out the mic. Well here I am with maybe a faulty mic. I contacted customer support due to them sending out email before i received the item asking me to reach out to them if there is any issues. So i did. I got a response back in the same day and a replacement was sent out. a few days later I received it. Plugged it in and i was able to get sound out of the mic but it was very inconsistent requiring me to keep messing with it to get sound to come out. here i am with 2 mics that dont work on my headset. im not sure if it is my headset or the microphones that dont work but i am proud to say that the customer service helped out in a time of need.As of today i sent an email out asking for them to send a box so i can return these items back and for a refund as the items did not work for me. I am waiting to hear back from them. I am happy that the level of support is above and beyond and these microphones may help someone else. They did not in my case.

Well my friends are the ones that have to listen to my voice so if they are good with it so am I. Personally I find the AG9+ super comfortable I have used turtle beach's, Astro's many others my friends swap actual high end head sets a lot so I have tried most of them. The down side the stock mic is junk I know it. This fixes this problem. I don't like flexible/bendable mic booms but that is a preference thing doesn't mean the product isn't good. Still would recommend this mic as its sound quality is better and its cheaper than buying a new complete headset.

Disappointing…. This item is not compatible with a Nintendo switch or headphones. I am disappointed with the product. I would not recommend purchasing.

I’m so glad they have this specific mic still around. I bought my first head set years ago (It’s the most comfortable one I have and is my favorite) ands year into having it a dog chewed up my mic. You can’t buy the headset anymore so I am so glad I can still get replacement mic.

I got 2 for my son & daughter whos AG9 mics stopped working. The one is working fine but the other stopped working after 1 day. I did an exchange with it and the new mic came in and same thing happened! Not even a whole 24 hours of using it and it wont work. I want to get another one but worried I will once again have a trash mic.

The product works great! I was skeptical at first when I bought the product because of the troubles I've had in the past with other replacement options, however when I received the mic from these guys I was blown away from the care they take in their product. They test every mic before it leaves their possession to ensure it works, and give out a personal phone number in case there is a problem with the product. I am very pleased with my purchase and will go nowhere else but The pricesright4u for replacement microphones!
