The camera comes with a battery, charger and an sd card. You may want to get a larger compacity sd card like I did.

Yes you can! This camera takes great pictures. Makes it awesome that it works with bluetooth

Does this camera come with a USB transfer cable?

It does come with a USB cable, but it appears to be for charging only. I just plugged mine in to double check, and my computer does not see the camera at all, but it is charging.
