Fitting them in the Nespresso Citiz is a challenge, but it is Delicious!
Arrived overnight even though it was a 2 day shipping! The fit for my Nespresso Citiz is a bit challenging. Dropped the pod in the disposing container a couple of times and once coffee dripped in the disposing container as it was pouring in the cup as well, but after several days of using it, I figured it out without anymore mishaps.Having said that, once you succeed in getting it to work right, it is just delicious! I love the hazelnut and coconut flavors the most. These two flavored coffee Taste like roasted coffee plus rotated hazelnut or roasted coconut together rather than artificial hazelnut or coconut flavors that I have always noted in other gourmet coffees. I already ordered 50 of each!Of note, I don't like dark roasted coffee, so if you do, be mindful that these are medium roast only with a mild and none acidic/bitter taste. The flavors come out more after adding a bit of hot milk. The other 3 flavors are not to my liking. Quite frankly I cannot taste the flavors...The additional hazelnut and coconut flavored coffee pods arrived this week. The hazelnut flavored pods came without the original labels on the pods, just plain aluminum foils (?) And the coconut ones came with pods labeled as Colombia decaf with a weaker flavor and more vanilla taste than coconut! I contacted the company and they replied back that they were 100% sure that the pods contained the right coffee, and still offered to replace them if I wanted to, which I decided not to since I had already started using them. I hope they make the appropriate modification to prevent these batch to batch variations in future. Otherwise they would lose customers in such competitive market...

Gourmessa capsules apparently broke my new Nespresso Inissia
I tried these in my brand new Nespresso Inissa & they apparently broke it! :( After encountering a friends Nespresso machine and the awesome Aeroccino recently, I had to get them! These Nespresso 'compatible' capsules/pods by Gourmesso looked, tasty & were fair trade so ordered them too. After trying several cups with the regular Nespresso coffee capsules, my son & I wanted to try the Gourmesso pods. They fit but did not work! Water came out of the bottom of the Nespresso Inissa. When we took the Gourmesso pod out it appeared barely punctured on the back/bottom & not punctured at all on the flat top. On examination both the top & the bottom of the Gourmesso pods seem significantly harder than the Nespresso ones. After trying a couple times to use the Gourmesso pod, we put a Nespresso pod back in and now the machine will not puncture those correctly. So the harder Gourmesso pods appear to have damaged the Nespresso Inissia. In the pictures, the metallic bronze color capsule is an original Nespresso. The black plastic one on the right is this item by Gourmesso. I dented the thin metal Nespresso one with my thumbnail. The black plastic is much firmer and apparently harder to puncture. The top is also harder on the black one. It was not punctured either. I love supporting fair trade but do not recommend these pods for use with Nespresso Inissia.

Coffee is great, build quality isn't as great.
I like it - the flavors are all generally okay, and they come through pretty well into the espresso. The price at $.50/pod is great, but the quality of the pod is questionable. At first glance, you will notice these pods have plastic bodies, unlike the aluminum body of the Nespresso pods. We had ordered these for a house party where I was thinking I was going to make espresso for some of the attendees. And we did, I made about 10 cups in an hour, however, 2 of the 10 didn't penetrate in the Nespresso machine. What happens when it doesn't penetrate is odd, because nothing comes out of the spout, but the next cup will do double duty (it must build up somewhere?) through the pod, so unless you know you had a misfire - you end up ruining another pod figuring it out. So, all said, two misfired, but I lost three cups in the process.Even with the loss of three pods, the cost of these pods versus the official Nespresso makes this purchase a no-brainer. I just kind of wish that there was an easier way to tell if you had a "dud" pod, as it would save some aggravation if you're not paying enough attention.

Generally satisfied
We received a Nespresso for our wedding, but the Nespresso pods were too expensive for us to continue buying. We found this Gourmesso Flavor Bundle and thought we'd give it a try in light of the affordable price and the good reviews. I don't regret this purchase, although I'll be trying other products before I come back to it. First, the packaging is nicely done and the pods fit well into our Nespresso. The pods themselves weren't as strong as we had hoped. I'm not an intense espresso fan, but these were a little too weak for my taste. However, the flavors (vanilla, chocolate, caramel, etc) were very present and, in general, enjoyable. I loved hazelnut and caramel the best. The vanilla and chocolate wasn't as strong, but good. I really didn't enjoy the coconut flavor, even though I'm a fan of coconut (but I haven't tried other coconut-flavored espresso, so my opinion may not be specific to this brand but a general distaste for that flavor). My only other complaint is that the pods are packaged two per pack, so I was a little concerned that the flavor/strength in the left-over pod would dissipate after I opened the pack and used only one of the pods. I didn't experiment with that idea, so I can't really say whether it's true. Anywho, all-in-all, I think it's a good product and we may come back to purchase more once we explore other products on the market!
