Have been using Qunol ubiquinol for some years. Shame it's so much more expensive in the UK than it is in the US but Qunol tend to be more competitively priced than other genuine sources of Kaneka Ubiquinol. Please beware of other cheaper products on Amazon that claim to use Kaneka but look very dodgy. Yes it contains Polysorbate 80 but do your research rather than believing silly reviews and fake news.

I read a lot about COQ10 before starting to take them over a year ago. Although there are conflicting reports, most recent research seems positive about it's benefits, particularly as an antioxidant and anti inflammatory. Frederick Crane who discovered it in 1957 won a Nobel prize for his work. I find that quite reassuring. I really do think they help. I seem to have more energy and I don't think I've had any negative side effects from them. I plan to continue taking COQ10.I do have a slight concern with this particular brand about the polysorbate 80 which is used in the capsule and isn't good for kidneys.I can't tell how much there is in these, but as I take 300mgs daily I've now switched to another brand which doesn't contain it and comes as 300mg capsules. This works out much cheaper for me. However if for any reason I don't feel they are working as well I'll switch back.

Ive tried other brands sometimes i didnt read the small print and bought co q 10 ubiquiNONE which didn't really give me the same energy so i now only have this one ,A dietician and Dr told me to take CoQ10 Ubiquinol .

Best value for money CQ10 - water soluble ubiquinol means best absorption.Many CQ10 are ubiquinone which is mostly fat soluble (and the high milligrams mean nothing) and still needs to be converted to ubiquinol in your body.If you're going to consider a CQ10 supplement it's best to pay a premium and get the better option.

I probably should have taken these for extended period of time, more than one pack. To be certain about any effects I should have done blood test prior to taking these and afterwards. Personally I didn't feel any effect, but at the same time I didn't feel any worst. I can see major benefit for any statin users (which I am not). I might revisit these at some point in time, for prophylactic use.
