Undecided.... Update pleased with try out today, more stars.
Just tried it on with a couple of other packs I bought from different brand in different sizes.I'm currently wondering what to do with it to be honest. Maybe just carry it in my small back pack in case I buy something large I need to carry and then fold it out and put my small pack into it along with whatever else. I'll have to work that one out. What I did notice is that with no chest strap the shoulder straps are very slippy over a rain jacket and this could become annoying, otherwise it's pretty comfortable -at least empty- but I wouldn't want to carry my usual 10kg shopping load in it as I do with my current 25L bag. It may be good for a light day out cycle which I do but the 15L Burghaus 24 hour I also bought may give it some competition with it's fancy adjustable chest strap although it has no pockets or anything basically whereas this one is very good in this regard. The jury is still out on this I'm afraid. I'm so used to my old bag I still have to try all these new ones and see if any of them are really just right or whether I need to keep looking. If all else fails this is light and folds away and is easy to bring along for whatever use and I've never had one of these or needed one but it is well priced and could come in handy. That's my initial thought so not much use. Probably need to see where I am a year from now and which of my 5 packs I find most useful and then look for a better version of that perhaps.Update: Went to supermarket with it today and packed it to the brim with groceries and apart from having to rearrange anything sharp poking into my back I was surprised at how good it was. Very comfortable on the way while empty and surprisingly still quite comfortable while full of groceries and the straps never slipped on my cycle rain jacket at all which was a pleasant surprise. I have heavier bags for the grocery shop but after today I see a lot of potential for this Homdox for many trips as it's so light and comfortable and has so many pockets etc so is ideal for a light carry when cycling. This is something of a revelation to me as I didn't think it would be much use but this could in fact be very useful. The blue colour is very nice also and bright to be seem while on the bike as opposed to the black Berghaus 15L I bought. Actually I just bought another Berghaus 25L as I didn't think this Homdox would do but having just received the Berghaus I think I like the Homdox more although the Berghaus is a bit more heavy duty obviously.I like it for sure now I've seen how it does actually work very well at least for my kind of use. I don't think it's really for mountain expeditions or such. It's like a light shopping bag so ideal for that or a day out cycling around. I could use my 35l heavy duty bag for a big grocery load and this for anything else. A good bag basically I now realise. It the lightness and comfort which are special I think plus the very numerous places to put things unlike both Berghaus I bought.

Delighted with purchase
A friend and I bought two recently in an attempt to travel light, taking cabin baggage only to Madeira for 10 days where we holidayed and went levada walking on 6 of those days. We realised belatedly that we would need day packs - lightweight to put in our cabin baggage. Bought just before travelling, they proved to be excellent. We found them easy to organise with their different pockets - the centre for maps etc, (good size and protected) the outside smaller zipped pocket for mobile phone and purse (Madeira seems to be quite safe) and the centre for waterproofs, sandwiches etc. The two side pockets were a good size for a water bottle and an umbrella. After a while the penny dropped that the pocket in which the backpack comes, turns inside out and can be zipped to hold valuables by turning niftily into the pack itself. Good material, well made and tested for shower resistance. Bag was comfortable to wear. Price helped us make the decision (11.99 at the time). Excellent value and an excellent design·

Great backpack..roomy, lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Promptly received for my triathlon camp abroad .Loved the colour, great size, lots of useful pockets. Could fit all my swim gear (towel, wetsuit etc) or running gear including trainers.Folded down perfectly, very sturdy, and comfy on my back even on long bike ridesThe big BUT and reason for 4 out of 5 is that one strap wasn't stitched at all when i opened it on arrival abroad 😬....so my first evening was spent sewing it to keep it together for the week!!!!! Lucky my skills are good.So while I would have sent it back for a replacement, I now can't as I've mended it myself. Though I will accept a replacement if you want to send me one!!!!

Satisfied and happy
Very good backpack for both travel and everyday use. I bought this item to replace another one I had which was much heavier even though they had the same capacity. One of the features i love the most is the possibility to "compress" it into a small 15x15cm square so that you can but it into your luggage when travelling. Obviously, as it is very light, there is no back/bottom protection so one must be careful when using it with a computer inside and not hit anything with it as there is basically no protection at all.

Used daily for years
This is the best packable rucksack I've ever used. Lovely colour and has stood the test of time having daily use for treking, shopping, sports etc.

Firstly I was amazed at the size and weight of the bag
Well what can I say. Firstly I was amazed at the size and weight of the bag. It came packed in its own pocket for a while I thought my order was wrong. Once it was opened I must say I was surprised by the size, number of pockets etc. For my needs it is ideal ( a day at airshows and the like ), build quality seems really good, very happy.

Just what I wanted.
I used this daily on a recent holiday and was surprised how comfortable it was to wear. It is very light and the straps are easy to adjust. It took a surprising amount of stuff and had good pockets including the one in which the backpack arrives packed into which flips to become an internal pocket. It will continue to be useful. It easily contained a waterproof jacket, jersey, scarf, camera, binoculars, book and wallet plus a water bottle in the outside pocket without becoming cumbersome.

Brilliant little backpack
Bought this for a holiday, where we were planning some hiking and it served very well, it packs away very small when not needed and it surprisingly spacious when in use. I used it every day on our 24 day hols. It's not quite waterproof but we did have torrential rain and nothing stood up to that but for the price it did very well as a day pack and I will use again, it's comfortable and seems sturdy enough not to fall apart.
