The web site said the aerator was stainless steel - only part of it is. The top portion is stainess steel, but the mechanism the wine actually flows over is acrylic. Acrylic is a form of plastic, and I don't know about you, but I don't want my wine flowing over plastic before I drink it. Also, acrylic is not impervious to discoloration, and overtime it developes a hazy stain from red wine, which is in plain sight when you gaze upon it at the table. Most unsightly. Why was this portion of the aerator not made of the same high quality material (stainless steel) as the rest of the aerator? I suspect it was a cost cutting decision my friends, and they are counting on us not noticing or caring. Back it goes. Luxbe - put a little more Lux in your product, I would have gladly paid more for a better product.

Great purchase for wine enthusiasts who want a good wine decanter/filter/aerator at a reasonable price. This decanter is great because it has a filter to catch cork and sediment from older bottles of wine. When pouring your wine into the decanter, it is both visually appealing and does a great job aerating the wine.I’ve looked at others in the past which are just too expensive for the purpose they serve, but this decanter is great, would definitely purchase again!

My husband loves this decanter. We had one that was bigger and heavier but this new one is so much better. It is lighter but the Aerator Pourer Lid is so much better, easier to use and really helps the wine breathe. There is a significant difference in the wine when using this decanter. We are very happy with our purchase.

This Aerator/Decanter works very well. Not only does it help the wine breath right away from the aerator but the wide bottom decanter gives the wine a large surface area so it can continue to breath as it sits. I love it and I think it works great.

This decanter does exactly what I wanted it to do. The filter aerating cap works perfect. The only thing it is a little hard to clean but that is not the end of the world for me. Would recommend this product.

Fancy and remains covered for storage... (if you don't drink the whole bottle.) Great container for wine to gasp...breathe ...

Use a soft bottle brush to clean. It makes a noticable difference in the taste of the wine.

Bought this for my husband who loves his wine. What a difference aerating it in this decanter makes! It really does improve the taste. Its so easy to use too. Just pour the wine in and it travels around the sides of the decanter to aerate.The stopper is good too if not all the contents are drunk in one evening.Good quality, easy to clean and a great buy. Would strongly recommend.

Bit hard to clean due to the shape however this cannot be prevented, but materials are great and works perfectly.

Very nice, loved the airer part. The only thing I wish it had is a cork ball for longer storage to prevent evaporation

I never used a decanter before and I do drink red wine quite a bit, since using this it is the first time I have ever been able to taste and smell the different flavors that you hear the experts go on about.
